  2. The corsair speakers are amazing for what they're priced at. Granted, they're not as good as my roommate's Logitech Z906's, but they're in a totally different price bracket. I haven't had much experience with the other speakers in the ~$200 range but can't imagine a better set of speakers for the price than these :)p.s. awesome rig, mate! got an epic UV effect going on :)
  3. haha thanks for the feedback guys! :) I believe the Mayhem's Aurora line is the coolant that's intended for showpiece. I've been running the pastel coolant for about 6 months now, and no signs of clogging yet :) I have, however, been thinking about going back to distilled water + Mayhem's UV Green dye because it matches the green of the mini hulk figurine better.
  4. Hey guys, Here's more of a gallery for my rig, seeing as it's pretty much done. I plan to replace the GTX 570 with an HD 7970 this week when the card arrives. I originally had an XFX card going in, but it turns out XFX made changes to their PCB's which made it no longer compatible with the EK-FC7970 CSQ water blocks. Here are the specs to my rig: SPECS: Case: Corsair Obsidian 650D CPU: i5 2500k @4.3Ghz w/ XSPC Raystorm water block Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z68-UD3H-B3 RAM: Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz CL9 GPU: GTX 570 Classified w/ EK-FC570/580 GTX+ (EN plexi) Drives: Corsair Force Series 3 240GB + Seagate Barracuda 2TB PSU: Corsair AX750 WATER COOLING: Pump: Swiftech MCP655 w/ Bitspower Pump Top & Mod Kit Reservoir: Bitspower D5 Top upgrade Kit Rads: XSPC EX240 (w/ Noiseblocker PL-2 120mm) & Phobya Xtreme 200 (w/ Bitfenix Spectre Pro 200mm) CPU Block: XSPC Raystorm GPU Block: EK-FC570/580 GTX+ (EN plexi one) + backplate Fittings: Bitspower Black Matte Compression Fittings, Angled Rotary Adapters (, Tubing: Primochill Advanced LRT Crystal Clear (1/2" ID, 3/4" OD) Coolant: Mayhem's Pastel Mint Green (Used to be distilled water w/ Mayhem's UV Green dye + biocide) The interior White LED strips and UV cathode placement (ignore the cable mess in the optical bay :P) White LEDs on UV Lighting (night mode) The rig as a whole TEMPS: 2500K is clocked at 4.3Ghz on 1.35v (not the best chip): 40 C idle, 63 C load GTX 570 is clocked at 930/2300 @ 1.100v: 32 C idle, 51 C load I've also included a link to an online album full of pictures I took for the actual build log. You'll see a few different parts from back when I started, but she's been a work in progress till now :) I may be going back to the transparent UV Green coolant (from the album), let me know which coolant you guys prefer!
