  1. search up how to build a hackintosh if you want to install OS X, my friend dual boots but you have to install Apple drivers on parts first
  2. Shhh, watch the lastest video on vessel if you have vessel
  3. Yes it is, because in a year or so games are going to be passing 3.5 GBs of vram in 1080p for sure, it's only an extra $30
  4. It may be horrible, but as long as there is a #Firepoll (LMG has amazing working condition, please don't hurt me Linus.)
  5. but I get a #Firepoll right? @LinusTech
  6. Replace the GTX 970 with a R9 390, it's a better card and has 8Gbs of video memory instead of the 3.5GBs of GTX 970, well it has 4Gbs but the last 500 mbs runs at 1/7 of the speed of the 3.5Gbs
  7. Hi welcome, here I edited this, and put in some better stuff, aslo yes overclocking is always good, free extra preformance, and yes you'll get a mild oc
  8. I've seen both 4k, (since I have a 4k monitor) and 1440p 144hz and that's all up to personal preference, and sure here I'll pick something out for you
  9. Yes, I've had both cards, and in terms of performance the R9 295x2 kills the 980 TI, and there are no problems with the card or its bios, My PC died with the R9 295x2 and took the card with it, so I got a 980 TI, but if I had to pick, the R9 295x2 is a much better card
  10. No, the 980 Ti has always been $650+. you should keep the rig your friend recommended I've had the card it's amazing
  11. Yes that card will be perfect, it outpreforms the 970 and has 8Gbs of vram too and is cheaper
  12. I have one, amazing card, but unfortunately I have to RMA it
  13. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/nn6BRB I put in a 5k monitor lol
  14. what are you going to be doing? gaming, editing, ect.?
  15. As do I, since I have had the card and my friend also has the card
  16. Honestly, that build is perfect for a 4k gaming/ rendering build
  17. Also getting a 980 TI would be less performance and $120 more expensive
  18. Yes it would, because I know for a fact that most people who are on AMD right now have "old" 200 series cards, why would AMD focus on Fury when most of their custumers are on the 'old" hardware
  19. My friend has both the R9 295x2 and witcher 3 and with hairworks off in 1440p he gets well over 60 fps
