Got offered a 25% discount (from a shop affiliated with a club I'm in) on a pair of DC One-X and I jumped on it. Arrived on my doorstep today and first impressions are good. Of course, with 40kt gusts in the recent days, I won't be flying very soon however, I can of course just put it on my head and see how it feels.

It is very compact, relatively light, comfortable (clamping pressure is not strong at all) and when I decided to play some music through bluetooth, I've got to admit, I was pleasantly surprised as it sounds pretty good. I mean the bass is a little overpowering while the mids and highs are a little underpowered but I mean music wasn't even on the middle of the list so it's wrong for me to compare it to anything audiophile. The ANR also seems to work pretty good while passive NR is probably on the slightly weaker side (but still decent). 

Anyway, I'll make my mind up after flying with em but so far, it looks good.
