Oooooooo...according to my sister and her friends (all medicine students), they think I may have Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. Considering HCM's symptoms matches exactly the issues my mother have/has had (she's only very recently had an echo and physical ECG done so we have no idea whether she has a heart problem or not), I guess it would make a lot of sense for me to have HCM as there's a 50% chance in inheriting it if one of your parents has it.

Hey, at least with EASA, I can still get a class one with OML restrictions (i.e. other pilot must have a full, unrestricted medical) but I won't be able to get a JCAB class one as cardiomyopathy is an automatic disqualification. Lets just hope my murmur is nothing significant as otherwise as I would like to keep my life plan.
