  1. G1 has better power delivery and stability and an extra dvid out
  2. G1 master race reporting in. Great card, mine hit 1500MHz stock voltage, 80°C stock fan profile
  3. So, i dont get it. I was happy with my 980s, i am happy with my 980 ti's. Am i supposed to suddenly be unhappy with them? I mean, its very nice he fury x can beat these, yay for competition, but reading this i feel like some people think us ti owners are giant losers all of a sudden. Cant i just like my stuff and you like yours?
  4. I bought my cards because i like gsync. So i replaced my 980s with ti's. AMD isnt bad, fury looks interesting, but im commited to Nvidia for the foreseeable future. This screen cost a fortune
  5. You the pony guy with the cool build, no? Really liked it. Inspired my own
  6. 2x Gigabyte GTX 980 ti G1 gaming
  7. Hats off to AMD if Fiji lives up to the hype. I just fear Nvidia will out-rnd them by Q1 2016, while AMD doesn't have the means to compete with that nrw iteration unless Fiji makes them some serious bank
  8. I dont have a pwm to molex. I did try reseating and it seemed to have brought down idle temps to 40°C ish and under aida64 fpu test down to mid/high 70°C
  9. Could try that, i think i have enough left in the tube
  10. I am not sure why the cooler would bemounted poorly btw. The screws are well tight and pressing dorn on the block yields no change in temps
  11. I use mx-4, is it bad? I may have just applied it poorly (small pea sized drop in centre of the cpu heatspreader)
  12. So, set it at 100%,i will try that. Can the cpu_opt be controlled independently? It seems tied to my cpu_fan and i dont want those going full blast. I will try reseating the block when i get home from work
  13. I'm trying to get a good OC on my 4790k. Its paired with a Z97 Asus Maximus VII Formula board, fairly high grade. It's cooled by a Cooler Master Nepton 240m, with the fans replaced by Corsair SP120 Performance editions. I Run the pump off the CPU_Opt, the rad off the CPU_Fan. I Have set an OC of 4600MHz (100BCLK, 46 Multi, 1.27v adaptive) Each time i run an AIDA64 FPU test, it shoots straight into overheating territory. When i run it at stock, the same test sends it up to around 92-96°C. Am i doing something wrong? Voltage too high? shitty cooling solution? Poorly seated cooling block? any help is much appreciated edit: idle temps seem high at 44°C
