Testbuilds's Achievements

  1. This is honestly 10 times more exciting than most of the tech stuff released in 2014.
  2. My favorite thing about this phone is that it has good build quality and is water proof (unlike the S5 and M8 where you only get one). My favorite thing about dbrand is that they make awesome skins!
  3. My favorite thing about the G3 is the buttons being on the back
  4. I searched and couldn't find any posts of this article, so hopefully this isn't a repost. http://wccftech.com/30fps-vs-60fps-30fps-better-story-telling-games/ WCCFTECH claims that 30fps is better for story telling than 60fps, because games at 30fps are similar to the "movie magic" effect of 24fps movies, and 48fps have the "soap opera effect" where they are too smooth. Apparently filling in the missing parts with our brains is beneficial. "The more Frames Per Second we increase in our Gaming Standards the less “Magical” they will feel." I don't know about you, but 30fps in a game never feels magical to me, it just reminds me that I need a newer GPU. If any of you believe 30 fps is better, please back up your reasoning better than the article writer, and I'll try to keep an open mind about supposed low frame-rate superiority. Until then, anyone that claims 30 fps is "perfectly fine" or "better than higher fps," is just going to get
  5. PS3 controller doesn't fit my hands, and a mouse isn't very good for racing games.
  6. That's like 90% of the gaming mice out there. Be more specific, or we can't recommend one for you specifically. What size do you want? Do you want included software? Customizable DPI? Palm grip, claw grip, or fingertip grip? Adjustable weights? Adjustable scroll wheel? Lift-off distance? I own a Cooler Master Storm Xornet. I got it because it's small and claw grip optimized, since that's my preferred grip and I have small hands. It has a DPI up and down button below the scroll wheel to switch between 500, 1000, and 2000 DPI. It also has two buttons on the side. There is no onfiguration software, just plug and play. The lift-off distance is pretty terrible, but I don't lift my mouse to move it to a different part of the mousepad very much, so it doesn't affect me much. It's also really cheap, at about $25-30, depending on where you buy it. I use it on a Steelseries QCK mousepad and have had no tracking issues. Clicks feel solid, scroll wheel is nice and clicky, but not loud.
  7. Everyone and their mom and dad just say get an Xbox 360 controller to play PC games, but it doesn't fit my hands. I also don't want a PS3 controller. What are some good PC game controllers that: 1. are wired 2. fairly cheap (under $40) 3. built well 4. comfortable for small hands Personal experience along with recommendations is appreciated.
  8. My favorite thing about the M8 is the metal build. I drop my phone a lot, and having a thick rubber case is annoying to pull it out of my pocket. I think the M8 would fix that.
  9. Thanks for the feedback, but I still need to know if it will run without batteries when plugged in, since I want it to be light.
  10. Main reason I want this mouse is because I can find it for around $50, the size, and I believe Razer Synapse will allow me to set whatever DPI I want, rather than just toggle between set numbers (like 800/1600/3200). I need a small mouse because I already have really small hands, and I like to fingertip grip. This makes mice like the Razer Naga and G700 pretty much unusable for me. If any of you guys on the forum have experience with this mouse, could you tell me about how it is? Few questions: Will this work without batteries if I just leave it plugged in? Can the buttons on the side be used as macros, or only for DPI? Does Razer Synapse allow me to change the DPI to whatever I want (Up to the 6400 DPI limit of course)?
  11. How about a modmic? I know most people recommend desktop mics, but if you're willing to sacrifice a little bit of quality for convenience, you can always throw a modmic onto your headphones.
  12. It's not about value, it's about ultimate aircooling That's why I'm looking for the best I can find
