    I use a Nikon D40 up until now. The D40 is very capable camera in a small body. I have the kit lens and a 50mm series e lens.

    I have this Nikon 18-55mm VR kit lens.. It's very dirty.. there's huge specs of dust and all of these fibers (?) Any ideas for a replacement lens? I've been looking at the Nikon 18-70mm lens. They go for around 90-120 on eBay.I also saw a Sigma 18-50 F2.8 EX DC for around ~110 USD used. Are there better lenses? My Budget is ~150 USD and my camera is a D40.

    I'm not a good critic soo excuse my criticism. I personally like black and white photos :) I like that the squirrel is grasping the tree.. The background blur helps isolate the subject a lot .. i like it .I think that the squirrel is too dark .. maybe a bit of an exposure bump should fix it. 9/10 Shot with a D40 w/ 18-55 kit lens (with haze and lots of dust inside.. I will replace it sometime)
