Karen Lynn reacted to waynedud3 in Delay between Power button and POST
This is a normal thing computers do when checking components, and is nothing to worry about. Every UD3 Board I have used has done this.

Karen Lynn reacted to Mr.Meerkat in Delay between Power button and POST
Sounds fine and probably is fine as that's just it checking the RAM, CPU and whatever making sure the computer can actually boot.

Karen Lynn reacted to Electronics Wizardy in Power and cable question
It will work just fine. Those cables are more than enough to handle the 20A max.

Alright, so it exists to annoy me. Gotcha.

Karen Lynn got a reaction from Johannes_Lazor in AMD APU and dual graphics.
Depends on the user. My boyfriend will be getting this build. His primary games: League, hearthstone, old games, runescape... It could run fine without a discrete card.
Probably will have him save up for a better graphics card. Maybe a 270x+

Karen Lynn got a reaction from sirtoby in Case mod concept idea
I have experience with a dremel. Used to mod figures for mage knight when I was younger.
The mods would start once I had a spare case. Time is an expectation. Cost is a downer, but if I do the whole thing to look good... Inconsequential.
The most important thing is that I would learn a ton.

So, I had an idea strike. I'm getting the RAIDMax Hybodus.
Its profile speaks to me...
Like something from a nightmare...

Karen Lynn got a reaction from Mnemosyune in Would an i5 be bottlenecking Titan X?
Bottlenecking isn't really that big an issue. If you find your CPU at full load and the gpu is isn't, then you have an actual bottleneck. Check out Jayztwocents, he has a good episode on bottlenecking. Even if he is a dick hole.
