A project I'm working on in 3ds Max can use up just over 8GB of my video memory of my GeForce GTX 1080 Ti when rendered at UHD 4K ???

Until I start managing all of the materials and maps, I have to be especially careful with regards to using a lot of materials.

As for the renderer I'm using, it's the beta version of AMD Radeon ProRender for 3ds Max 2018, which is my main renderer of choice since I've been using it in Blender.

Unfortunately in vray gpu rendering is not that good...

I know, like I said, until I manage all of my texture maps and materials, it'll consume that much VRAM at 4K.

    I'm well aware of that.
