  1. I would say a tower-cooler as with them you can orient the airflow as it suits your needs. For example backwards directing the hot air out of the case or upwards if you want to use the PSU as an exhaust.
  2. It is very strange that the problem persisted with a complete pave & nuke of the system. Scanned for malware? There shouldn't be any as you have a fresh install if it isn't a memory persistent thing that is in RAM so long you don't completely power off your system before you boot to the USB for reinstall. But there is something going on, as you also noticed problems with YT and light usage of your system.
  3. How much load do you get on the GPU when you are playing? Does it work better when you turn up the graphic settings in the games? Lower settings means less load on the GPU and more load on the CPU as it need to shuffle more data to feed the GPU.
  4. Why did you repaste the CPU and cleaned the PC. Those things have nothing to do with high CPU usage. That is literally impossible. So this is a new problem? Everything has worked fine until recently? Have you installed something new? Surfing somewhere you shouldn't have? When you reinstalled Windows? You did a full reinstall from USB and completely wiped your drive?
  5. I would power off the system. Insert the USB, start the PC and enable the boot-device-selector during POST, if we know what motherboard you have we can find out what key that is, usually, ESC, F2 or F8. The POST-screen will tell you what key it is, if you have a boot-logo instead of a POST-screen, press ESC to disable it. Start the install according to the guide above, remove/delete all partitions and let the windows installer create a new partition and continue the install of Windows.

  7. I am sure you could do the same thing from a Windows install-USB. I haven't installed a Windows system for more then a decade now, so I have no idea of how you do it in Windows 10/11. But there is surely a guide on how to do a remove partitions and reinstall Windows from scratch. EDIT: How to: Perform a Clean Install or Reinstall of Windows 10 https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/all/how-to-perform-a-clean-install-or-reinstall-of/aef0ae63-2117-41ee-a8ea-4a3181625b08
  8. Also, be sure to boot to the Live-USB from a completely shutdown PC, no reboot as the "program" can be persistent in memory or boot-record on the system. There are something that is hiding from the normal windows reset even if you "wipe the drive" before reinstalling Windows.
  9. Does the problem go away if you boot to a Live-USB with Linux for example? Start the Live-USB and start system monitor. If everything is normal then you know that it isn't a hardware-related error and the problem is on your current boot-disk. Also, when in Linux, start the disk-manager like gparted and remove the partitions on the HDD, then reboot to Windows install-USB and let it create a new partition and file-system from scratch.
  10. Well, I meant how it could disable the screen output for the external display. We already know that the internal display is broken but that shouldn't affect the external connection if the GPU is working, disabled in windows or not. Have you tried FN + F8 to toggle the external display output?
  11. I am sure your local HW-store has the appropriate screws as they are standard screws. Take one with you and show them and they can find you the appropriate length. A quick googely search for "6-32" screws gave me this: https://www.albanycountyfasteners.com/Phillips-Pan-Head-Machine-Screw-Stainless-6-32-p/490000.htm and this https://www.amazon.com/Screws/s?k=Screws&rh=n%3A16310091%2Cn%3A17290023011%2Cn%3A383599011%2Cp_n_feature_fourteen_browse-bin%3A11433959011&pd_rd_r=fdef9eb7-63e0-4b69-adcb-ba48c5c5fe76&pd_rd_w=KfROK&pd_rd_wg=MCYQR&pf_rd_p=b4950e17-f2f6-494c-bba5-69a9d0aa3887&pf_rd_r=23Z5GGHWZCX0N9GZ17JP&pid=ntMKeGA&ref=sr_es_fst_scr

  13. I don't get it how a disabled iGPU-driver in Windows can disable display output if you don't load Windows. You should be able to get a display out if you haven't disabled the feature in the BIOS. The only way that is possible is if the iGPU itself have died and is no longer working. A driver or setting in Windows can't disable something on a hardware level.
  14. See if this works to get inte the BIOS on the external display after you have done the "hard reset". https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1008829
  15. Have you tried to do a "Hard reset" of the system? https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1047158
  16. You can't activate the external display with the FN-key + whatever key that is assigned to activate/deactivate the external display? EDIT: Here are the hot-keys for your laptop. https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1038312 Also try the hotkeys for adjusting the brightness.
  17. I would doubt it as I have experienced that phenomenon bort at home and at work and we doesn't have the same ISP. I think it is something on Googles/Youtubes end. The only times I have encountered this it has been some music video and the same phenomenon happens both on YT Premium and YT Music.
  18. What more answers do you want? No, it is not normal as the fans hits all the four spots you have marked, it is not a case defect that happens to be in those exact spots. You can source some longer screws or you can take a pair of pliers and bend the case outwards in those four sports so that the blades doesn't touch in those specific places. Longer screws can you find in your local hardware store.
  19. Usually when that is happening it is the GPU that deactivates because it is overheating. The screen goes dark and in sleep-mode and the fans ramp up and the game, move, whatever continues to play in the background.
  20. Why don't you do a quick search on the webb and read up on how to do a Linux install? It is not complicated but you must understand the basics of how it works and how Linux use the filesystem and partitions. In it doesn't matter if you are trying to install Linux, MacOS or Windows on something else than default installation, when you are doing something that is more then simply click next you must know what you are doing and understand the basics of what the system are going to do. If you don't, you are going to F something up, most likely your data that you don't want to loose. I highly recommend that you do a backup of your important files. And the easiest way to not F up a Windows installation when installing another OS is to disconnect that drive physically and when you want to use your other OS you chose to boot from the other disc separately from the BIOS boot-menu you can activate with F2, ESC or what the activation key for the boot-menu is for your specific motherboard. And if you don't select a boot-drive it will boot from the Windows-drive by default.
  21. That has nothing to do with Hilton Hotels, I have that problem with some YT videos on my home fibre connection and even at work with with my work laptop. So with two different systems and OS (Linux home and Windows 10 at work) and different ISP:s. What make you think it would have anything to do with Hilton? It is not like they have the same ISP over the country. How do you mean they would configure (or missconfigure) their network to make random YT videos like that?
  22. Sure sounds like the AIO is broken. But if you have a EVO 212 it is simple to find out and if you get good temps then you know for sure the AIO is broken. If it still overheats the problem is with the CPU or power-delivery from the MB.
  23. @WinWX That is not how the efficiency of a PSU works. If a PSU is rated for 650 W it delivers 650 W to the system, but with 80 % efficiency it draws 812 W from the wall to deliver the 650 W https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/psu-buying-guide,2916-3.html
