Why should you have to supply the computer to do the job? That is the responsibility for your company to supply all necessary equipment you need.

alright im sending it back, but not without making them wait 2 month, i ordered my pc on november 30, got it january 28, so there gonna wait as long as i did
(not that i would do that normally, just that they had estimade delivery day december 15th and kept delaying it)How old are you? Behaving like a kid....
Why do you think the couldn't deliver? Do you think they kept delaying because they felt like it? If they couldn't deliver they probably didn't have all the components or a massive sick-leave at the factory and couldn't process the orders fast enough.
Just send it back.

Does it really matter?
The only correct answer to this question is:
Set OBS to encode with QuickSync and then give it a try. Streaming with QuickSync and NVENC adds next to no load on the computer so if the game runs fine right now without streaming, it should run fine with streaming too.
There is no NVENC as there is no discrete GPU, just an iGPU on the processor.
-
With that kind of dammage someone must literally must have been driving over the package. So when they received it the must have gotten a really smashed package and they should have made a claim about that to the shipping company.

Tried with another PCIE-slot?

Everything is running at normal clock speeds, RAM is running at the speed its meant to and does have XMP enabled.
CPU is at about 50-60% utilization running at 4.17Ghz.
GPU is around 14% utilization however between alt-tabbing to type here it darts to about 30% and ten falls down to normal numbers again. Running at 1890Mhz according to MSI AB
RAM is at about 50% utilization.
With only 14% utilization of the GPU when gaming there is something wrong.

Off-course it's fine to run a system without additional fans, your system is a good example of that.
Many people think they need lots of fans, I would say in many cases (and with many cases) they are just making it worse with all those fans or layouts of how you are able to mount those fans and radiators. Most cases are sold purely for looks and not for being good environments for the components. Just look at how many that is vertically mounts their GPU right up against the side panel and starving it on air/cooling just for the looks. Just look att all the cases that are sold that is blocking off all form av intake of air with fans spinning that hardly gets any airflow. Most cases are hotboxes for the components, but "they look good".

If the system won't even boot then it has nothing to do with drivers.
I take it when you say it won't boot you get no boot-screen and you can't even get into the BIOS? Your display just show "no signal" and stays off?
-
Could you borrow a different card from someone and try with that?
It is very strange it won't boot at all with just the GT 640.
-
It is not the inside of the system that needs to be inspected, it is where the PSU-cable coming from the wall and connects to the PSU, where the loose connection was.
-
I would still check if there is any visible damage by the lose connection and if everything seems fine I wouldn't worry.
That the system rebooted when he pushed in the cable doesn't surprise me, I was more surprised that it seemed to stay on in your first post.
-
From pushing the cable in when system powered on?
I doubt it, as the system still stayed on.
The problem could be that the cable was not in (for a longer period of time) and the loose connection could have generated heat and burned/melted connectors.
Just physically inspect the cable and connection to see if that is the case.
-
When you tried with the setting for PCIE-graphics, did you connect the display-cable to the GPU?
If you connect the monitor to the GPU and have the BIOS-setting to Auto, it should start with the GPU as active even in Windows.
If it is working with shared graphics and it switch over to the GPU when playing, then everything is OK. All the display output via iGPU and the motherboard.

-
Why the F did you insert the GPU when the system was powered on? Hot-swapping with consumer electronics is not a feature.
You have most definitely miffed your GPU.

It's literally as simple as lifting a latch and the whole thing just pops off with it. It's the fastest opening design ever made.
What's wrong with something that simple as one or two thump-screws and then you take tho whole side out? Or as on the old Corsair Obsidian-series, push a button and you remove the whole side. Simple and effective.
With a hinged door you need space around the case to swing the door open. That is a fail in my book.
-
Yes, could be a coincidence or it could be the cause that made the GPU to go in "fail-safe" if the power to the card got wonky and shortly thereafter the PSU died.

source? absolutely not true for me.
Good for you. Just because yours didn't go up in flames doesn't mean there was a serious problem.
Jonny is working in the PSU-industry so if he says there was a problem, I'm sure there was a problem...
Not every bad products that have some critical failures goes big in tech-media. Sometimes the company just silently withdraws the product from the market.
-
It doesn't help to restart the driver for the GPU as it is not the driver that have failed.
The computer does not crash, hence all the programs is still working when the screen goes blank. It is the GPU that is going into fail-safe mode to protect itself, usually from overheating. The only way of reset the state of the GPU is to power off the system.
-
Why in the world are you using dual 750 W PSU:s?
Does the problem persists with only one PSU connected to the system?
Did you just lose signal out from the card or did it also ramp the fans to full speed?
-
The reason the GPU didn't work just after a reset is that the card that shut down to protect itself from overheating (most likely) and don't give a signal out and fans att full speed needs to be powered off completely to reset itself. A warm boot (reset) doesn't reset that fail-state of the card.

Why are you arguing about his RAM?
Pictured above is a classic example of a bad GPU, probably caused by bad VRAM or high overclock of the VRAM.

Just for the sake of it, remove and reinstall the M.2-drive to make sure there are no lose connection. Shouldn't be possible as the M2 is screwed in the MB so for it to get a bad connection shouldn't be possible.
Try it in another slot or on another MB to ensure that it is the drive and not something else.
But as stated, the error is probably a coincidence to the reinstall of paste and the CPU-cooler.
