  1. It is new enough to RMA yeah. Also white box desktop? Meaning custom built? Yeah I built it in the middle of last year roughly From the power point to the power supply, maybe should have specified
  2. Sorry I should have mentioned I tried a different cable which worked perfectly fine on my old PC
  3. So my Cooler Master MWE 650W Gold Power Supply has run without issue when I first built my new pc but lately the PSU has been giving me issues. The cable constantly needs to be shifted and placed correctly to turn the pc on, making sparking noises, yes great I know. Then I can shove the cable in all the way once the PC actually boots. If I try to shove the cable in all the way as you normally would, no go. I believe this is the cause of a new issue I've been having. My PC shutting down when gaming. At first it was after a little bit but now when I try to load into the first level of the Quake II RTX demo it simply shuts down my PC instantly (I tried this game because its actually kinda demanding). I believe my PC is receiving insufficient power with the faulty PSU Opinions? Fixes? Anything appreciated
  4. So my LG TV just simply refuses to install Netflix but installs other apps perfectly fine, such as Stan. When attempting to install it a prompt comes up saying an update is necessary to install. When hitting update the tv displays a notification "Unable to update software"Before anyone asks I have checked for updates manually in the TVs settings and even double checked my location was set up correctly. Any ideas? Thanks!
  5. Just setting it all up now, all systems are a go
  6. Holy hell you are a god among men my friend. Used my tv and it works. You genious. Thank you so much! I owe you my happiness lol I was pretty bummed. I'll keep you posted!
  7. I have a usb I set up with the win10 installed. I'll plug that in. Should I have a mouse and kayboard plugged in?
  8. Here are my components: MSI X570-A PRO AM4 ATX Motherboard AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8 Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 3200MHz Memory Samsung 970 EVO Plus Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER The EZDEBUG LED Appears to be stuck on boot. The cpu one comes on but turns off. Anyone have any suggestions? I only have the one cpu power 8 pin connected because my psu doesnt have the extra 4 pin. Apparently that's not needed?Suggestions anyone please? Pretty desperate over here, my PC knowledge is pretty limited, this is my first build solo I've trued using the different hdmi outputs too. CPU fan goes, gpu fan and leds, ram leds but no case fans. My ram is in the 2nd and 4th slots. Thinking of throwing the hat in and taking it to a shop to sort out. It's a bit beyond me maybe
  9. What would be a good indicator of thermal throttling? Guessing just keeping an eye on temps? Thankyou! Hopefully thats the case
  10. Alright thanks for easing my mind everyone. I guess I just got a little worried after I ordered the card and then only saw people complaining after. You've made me sure as eggs again! Cheers
  11. I heard of artifact issues and fan issues. Maybe its to be taken with a grain of salt though
  12. Are they really so bad? Is it really worth cancelling my card I've purchased and opting for and MSI Card or such instead? Surely Gigabyte isn't selling such a faulty card
  13. Thankyou! Looks like exactly what I was after. Considering its still MSI all the compatibility may be the same but ofc I'll be double checking!
  14. Hey all! With all the hype new releases getting around I've finnally decided to update my old rig completely and build a whole new PC. Just wondering what you guys thought of my current picks. I'm thinking I should maybe get an ATX board over the micro because I got a mid case but is there a similar ATX Board out there? Also is the m.2 ssd compatible with my current board chosen? I remained unclear on that. Thank you CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super Aorus 8GB MOBO: MSI B450M Mortar RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro CMW32GX4M4C3000C15 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe SSD 1TB PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold 650W Appreciate any and all help!
  15. Hey thanks for the cards man I'll check them out. Though I am reluctant to go AMD! Also thanks @LukeSavenije I'll peep this out!
  16. Well I've just had a good history would previous ASUS products and my MSI card let me down a bit I feel, but no I would be probably easily convinced otherwise lol And also waiting for new gen stuff is good in theory but I'm not sure I really want to spend the extra bucks on brand new hardware. I need to put some research into Zen 2 because honestly I knew verrryyy little of it
  17. Yeah see I thought maybe the same thing. Would the dual fan version be any better though?
  18. Hey My previous PC has a i5-3570 in it with a gtx 960 2gb And why would you suggest waiting for zen 2? For the price drop of previous gen or to get a brand spanking new bit of hardware? I don't think I'd drop the 2700x even if I upgraded to the 2080
  19. Hey everyone! Decided to build a new pc as my first is getting fairly dated and I've been working enough to get some cash for a decent PC. I am from Australia if thats an relevancy, we get shafted in the pc market here which is fun! Heres what I am thinking - GPU: ASUS GeForce RTX 2070 Turbo EVO 8GB CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X with Wraith Prism Motherboard: ASRock B450M Pro4 Ram: G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3000C16D-16GTZR 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe SSD 1TB PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold 650W Power Supply CASE: Fractal Design Core 1100 Micro ATX Case Also a side note - I don't think I plan on over-clocking my GPU or CPU Thanks in advance for your help and time!
  20. Well this all makes me seem a bit silly. It actually worked (I'm pretty sure)! Why didn't I think of doing that before. Previously when my GTX 960 was playing up I tried creating a new Minecraft world at the highest graphical options available and it lagged quite a lot. This time round it stayed above 120 FPS while I was sprinting at new chunks being generated for the first time! All this happened while TF2 was running in the background which ran fine! All may be fixed, we'll see. Thanks for the help all!
  21. At the time I also got an SSD so decided to wipe clean everything, so no traces are anywhere.
  22. Yeah but I'm a little short on money and would like to save if I could. If the problem boils down to the PSU then sure, I'll try.
  23. Hello all, recently I upgraded my graphics card to a MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 2GB and have noticed some issues when gaming and general use. When playing games I could run fine with my ASUS GeForce GTX 560 1GB DirectCU, I now notice a FPS stutter every so often and sometimes complete freezes. Some programs have crashed as well since the upgrade. I've done some research and have narrowed it down to insufficient power. I currently have a Gigabyte power supply with a continuous output of 450W. But upon further research I noticed my new card uses less than my old one. The GTX 960 power consumption is 120W and my old GTX 560 used 225W. SO what is the go here? The rest of my specs are - Intel Core i5-3570 CPU 3.40GHz | Gigabyte H77M-D3H Motherboard | 1TB HDD | 120 GB SSD| Really hope you guys can help, thanks
