  1. Went with the pc363d, they're incredible!
  2. Thanks for the reply, but I decided to go with the Sennheiser PC363d's.
  3. Sorry, it was the beyerdynamics I was looking at, the AT ones aren't too bad! But they aren't shipping to uk for a while.
  4. I've seen some of their all in ones, and the price is very very high, too much for me.
  5. Thanks for the reply. What would you say to that vs Wired? or is the lack of interference so good etc, that even considering buying a wired shouldn't come into because the H wireless is so good. P.s. Awesome video!
  6. Quick question NeoZeon, do you notice any problems with using the wireless headphones? Specifically the H wireless? It's just that I'm looking at getting a set of H Wireless's but I'm concerned about interference and all the other issues that come along with wireless headsets, are any present? (And I have watched the Linus video, but I thought I'd ask before I drop a lot of cash).
  7. Hi guys, Recently I have been considering updating my current headset as the microphone is terrible! Whilst I do realize that audiophile headphones and a separate mic are the best for quality, I want an all in one package and don't mind paying a premium for it. My next and main dilemma, is wireless or wired? Currently I am looking at buying either the Steelseries H Wireless or the Astro a40 2013 (for wired alternative). I am unsure whether to go wireless mainly due to possible interference and/or lag issues (i know what Linus said about them) and possible sync issues etc, and any other wireless issues that I don't know of. Is this really the case with the wireless headsets these days? Or should I avoid it at all costs and just go with the wired stuff? Secondly does anyone have any experience with the H wireless? Lastly does anyone have experience with the A40's? I've heard that they have a tendency to fall apart? Is this true? Thanks in advance. Ben. P.s. I do realize that there is a price difference, but ignore that as it does not bother me. I am bothered about the quality and pitfalls of the wireless option, if they exist.
  8. Cheers guys, I will try old school drivers, but it have the feeling that one is dying. As for windows I ran the sfc /scannow and it came back fine.
  9. Already done 'old', but how old are you talking? Year?
  10. Already on the list of things I've done.
  11. No, I didn't see the point considering I've been running the latest ones perfectly fine with great performance for the last several months. I tried slightly older but not a year.
  12. Hi guys, I have been running dual sli 580s for just over two years, with no problems. My system has been the same for those two years including my monitor, so nothing has changed recently for this to start happening (including driver updates - has been fine since the November drivers). As of yesterday, mid gaming session I suddenly got a bunch of artifacts and then my screen went a green pearlescent colour over the game I was playing, then there were flashing green bars etc. I immediately stopped and returned to desktop and my PC was fine. It only happens when I play games. At first, I've now found out, when I turn sli off the problem goes away; I can run both cards separately in each PCI slot perfectly fine, but turn sli back on and it goes bad again. I have changed my bridge connector with a brand new one and that doesn't change anything. I have troubleshooted this to no end, and, considering the wealth of knowledge on this forum, I thought it would be a great place to ask for a second opinion. Things I have done: Changed the dvi cable, and tried all the dvi slots on both cards. Tried both cards not on sli in both PCI slots. Tried a different bridge. Fresh driver install (beta too). Checked windows and direct x files for corruption. Other components running just fine. Checked for overheating. I personally think that due to the sudden nature of the problem and the fact that nothing had changed in my system to invoke such a malfunction, and that it only happens when sli is turned on, that it's a GPU dying/sli connector has gone bad. What do you guys think? Any last minute suggestions before I go to buy a new GPU (unfortunately I'm out of warranty by a few months and gainward don't care). Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
  13. That is a problem with recent iPhones, they just take a safe path and end up in a cycle that doesn't make the ground breaking changes that they should! They will need to pull something major out soon - having said that the hardcore will buy it anyway, not enough people are willing to vote with their wallets, and NOT buy the products. Having said that I love my iphone 5, however, I came from the 3GS and missed a few generations!
  14. To be honest, you may have just found the perfect reason to start building your new pc! There's always a bright side to things!
  15. But, assuming that you installed the card correctly, if everything worked fine before, the only thing that one can point to is the psu.
