    Yeah they are aftermartket fairings
Previous owner dropped the bike in his driveway and replaced them with these.

It's the only one getting around my state with these fairings, so it stands out quite a lot!
The yoshimura (RS-5) makes it have a nice note to it as well, keep it up in the RPM's and it sounds off its whole trolley haha!

Because that was possible 10 years ago, and because they are allowed to do that.

Just rebuilt the postie over the weekend, chopped down the pipe to weld up an original can on the end of it (as the one I had had been chopped off at the header).
The temptation to run it like this was very high but no turbs =/= small carrots, so its all legit now!

Any VAG 5cylinder sounds boss IMO, especially when turbo'd and using a 2.5" resonated pipe

Off topic: its my last day here at my current work. Start back at my states Fire/Police/SES/Forensics infrastructure again on monday. Better pay, potential project car?

start with a job somewhere like geek squad. they hire on no professional experience and care more about you as a person and your acquired skills. (i work for the company) it also looks very good on a resume because they are highly regarded

My gf has a 2.0 tdi (mk5) and its running really well with a baby amount of K's for a diesel (210,000) and im looking to flash it and get an extra 20-30% more power

Going for a reliable OEM turbo instead of a monster Garrett GT55R will give you reliability as well as a decent performance increase.
You don't have to have heaps of boost pressure to have fun especially with a small displacement motor.

Take for instance my gf's Turbo diesel golf, that turbo spins at a max rpm of 168,000 and has had over 210,000 kms on it yet still has 0 shaft play and is in pristine condition.

BOT Edward got a reaction from Technic77 in Driving exam (last time hopefully) question
Thats not their fault then provided they have put their indicator on prior to going forward enough to reverse.
You just have to learn not to be an asshole and ride up their ass, recognize that people reverse parallel park all the time and see that when their indicator is on and theres only 1 spot to the side that they are trying to get into that spot. And if you have gone forward enough so they cant get in you will see their reverse lights turn on, you not getting out of the way doesn't give you a right to complain that its taking them so long because you could have done something about it!

That's not their fault at all, you'd be the asshole in that situation lol

BOT Edward reacted to dalekphalm in Driving exam (last time hopefully) question
I gotta agree - do you realize how dangerous it is to intentionally cause road rage in other drivers?

Even if you yourself remain in control, you could easily cause an accident still, since making someone fly into a road rage could easily cause them to lose control of their vehicle. They might hurt or kill themselves (despite it being their own fault) - but more importantly, he could accidentally crash into YOU, causing your own death. Remaining in control of your own vehicle does not guarantee that you would be able to avoid any possible collision or accident cause by a person having a fit of road rage.

Frankly, you sound kind of dangerous, and definitely like a dick, to other drivers.

I personally back into a Parallel parking spot. Why? Simply because that was the way I was taught (both by any and all driving instructors, and by my parents). I've NEVER seen someone pull into a parallel parking spot, unless there was no car behind the spot. If you're parallel parking into a spot w/ cars on both sides, I've only ever witnessed people backing in.

Perhaps pulling into the spot somehow is "superior", but you cannot fault people for not doing something that is simply not taught. If you want more people to pull into a spot, you should teach as many people as you know how to do the manoeuvre.

I'm just gonna throw it out there, put the router behind something else so you can't see it or put a towel over it, then you won't be bothered by the router but by the towel.
