not worth it, it's litteraly 2 or 3 more FPS.
How much more for a GTX 970? i know they are pretty cheap in some places right now...and they are much more powerful than R9 380/380X.

If it's at 17C idle on air cooling then it's obviously a low end GPU, even 750TI idles around 25C

Higher end GPUs with have higher heat outputs or TDP. Any GPU generally that is actually worth buying or having for gaming should by no means have a idle temperature of 17C on air cooling unless it's a low end GPU that isn't actually worth anything for gaming

You see that? That's how much we know about Zen. We don't have any concrete information to draw from any leaks or anything of that nature. We just straight up don't know.
 
I mean, if it's better than Bulldozer by a country mile and actually competes with something like Kaby Lake, then excellent. They may be back in the running.
Until then, however, I'm not going to wait for them to release it, as I am in need of an upgrade ASAP.

More RAM. Really. More RAM would increase the usage by 1-2 watts...

If you're spending that much just go Intel.

850W way overkill, 500W would be sufficient. I would go for 550W though

If warranty is still good I would probably keep it because it's CXM which is slightly not as bad
