OAcesync got a reaction from CarterDavison in Possible Graphics Card Upgrade
Just lower some settings I wouldn't buy a new GPU until you feel unsatisfied with FPS performance

OAcesync reacted to CarterDavison in Acceptable GPU sag?
Sag is rarely something to be CONCERNED about, it's purely personal standards / limits of what is acceptable.

OAcesync got a reaction from DarkBlade2117 in I have at least 38% of an idea what I'm doing.

OAcesync reacted to PlayStation 2 in Most Toxic community in gaming? Also, where is it better PC or Console?
Dota is probably most toxic, Undertale or FNaF is most cancer, what community is better?
Console. PC is fucking toxic. Accept the truth.
Console just has a retarded, for lack of a better word, community. PC has a very unfriendly community.

OAcesync reacted to WoodenMarker in Returning a CPU to Amazon
You can probably get a refund but a 4690k should be fine for streaming.
What are you using to stream?

OAcesync reacted to The Official Czex in Is X99 motherboard still have issues?
Any X99 MOBO can do that.

OAcesync reacted to HKZeroFive in New build
6 cores doesn't mean it'll be better for gaming. The i5 is better in single-threaded performance and gaming. The 3.5Ghz is irrelevant; the i5 will still beat the AMD CPU.
-
OAcesync reacted to HKZeroFive in New build
NO. Intel is better for a CPU. Just get an AMD GPU if you're so deadset on having AMD in your build.

OAcesync got a reaction from kol in Question about streaming
Streaming console games is fine on the CPU
To lower CPU usage for PC games a capture card would help

Watch out for "hd monitor" that is 1600x900..... -
OAcesync reacted to kameshss in What's the difference between these motherboards?
Don't spend too much on motherboards.
Concentrate on selecting main components, such as CPU, GPU, Storage and RAM.
Get the cheapest motherboards which suits your needs like theme, SLI/CF compatibility, M.2 slot if you want.

OAcesync reacted to don_svetlio in RM difference
RM - overpriced with crappy secondary caps
RMx - decent value with full japanese caps
RMi - costs more than RMx and features Corsair Link

OAcesync reacted to quan289 in 80+ Bronze vs. 80+ Gold
80+ certification doesn't necessary dictates whether or not you have have a reliable power supply or not. For the end user, all you really need to know by getting is that:
1) your computer will draw the same amount of power from the PSU whether it is a Bronze or Titanium.
2) Less energy will be wasted during the AC-DC conversion with a higher certification thus saving you on your electricity bill (often negligible)
3) the energy that is wasted is converted to heat, and a higher certification run cooler and possibly quieter (of course, this depends on the fan and the fan profile.

OAcesync reacted to don_svetlio in 80+ Bronze vs. 80+ Gold
It means nothing except that one is 4% more efficient. Look at components, electrical performance, build quality and reviews.
The Antec HCG which is 80+ Bronze is worlds better than the EVGA G1 whch is 80+ gold

OAcesync reacted to The_Stig in What GPU to buy?
The 390x will be fine heat wise as long as you get one with a good cooler, like Sapphire's

OAcesync reacted to STRMfrmXMN in Suggest a PSU for this build.
Oh god oh god nooooo
The EVGA 80 + W1 is not very good inside. Also, an 80 Plus efficiency rating doesn't automagically deem a PSU "good" or not. Check out the pinned topic we have about this on the PSU/cases subforum or in my sig.

OAcesync reacted to ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, in good minecraft fps?
Seems like one of those threads where the user is showing off his epic minecraft FPS, but doesn't want to admit to it. 800FPS is way overkill, but you're also looking into the ocean. I'd say anything above 60FPS is good.

OAcesync reacted to FuzzyYellow in CPU gets really hot while rendering in any software
it would be good to know what temps you are running at, but it's a 4770k at 4.5Ghz. It's going to be hot.
