Hey,
I just built a PC for the second time, I was fairly confident as I have my own already and pretty much built the entire thing myself. However, everything in this PC is plugged in and from what it seems correctly installed, however when I press the power button, the power LED flashes, and nothing happens. I've tried many different things including taking out each stick of RAM at a time, taking everything out and placing it back in again, and I know it's nothing to do with how the motherboard is mounted. At a guess from the fact that the power LED flashes I'd say it's shorting out, but I can't find the source of the problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Specs:
CiT 650W PSU
Intel Core i3 3220 Dual Core @ 3.30GHz
Gigabyte B75M-D3H Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance RAM 2 x 4GB sticks
Seagate Barracuda 1TB drive 7200rpm
Asus optical disk drive
I would suspect the PSU being the fault due to it being a cheap one however the fact that the power LED flashes makes me think otherwise.
Thanks in advance.
