  1. Haha, I agree, but that investment is a bit too much at this time.
  2. So I can split the PCI-E into two Molex and then two Molex into two Sata, where both drives should have enough power.
  3. I need more power to run hard drives. I have a free PCI-E cable I think I can use to achieve this. My first thought was PCI-E to Sata power convertion, but couldn't find any adapters. I then started wondering if I can convert PCI-E to Molex and then Molex to Sata power. This is possible, but some PCI-E to Molex, and Molex to Sata power, have splits and multiple endings. This makes me worried about correct power consumption. I want to run as many drives as possible. Anyone that can help me here?
  4. I really don't care about seing LTT videos early, but I remember them showing off a high bitrate stream om the WAN show some time ago. That is really what interest me. All the info about it I can see is from when it was launched. I wan't to know what it's like now.
  5. You are a legend my friend. Thank you for teaching me. I feel information like this is hard to get without trial and error.
  6. Thank you for your reply. Very informative. Can you make a list of the components I will need? (Subwoofer, receiver...) Have any recommendations?
  7. I know what I need to know about displays, but sound is confusing to me. I want to hook up a surround system to a UHD TV and UHD Blu-Ray player. I don't want the audiosystem to be annoying to use. By that I mean manually choosing the soundsystem, taking 30 seconds every time I turn on the TV. I have understood I should have a box (not sure the right name) to be the "master" that controls the audio in it self. Then it should be connected to speakers and a subwoofer. Should I buy a pack comptaining all I need? Is it hard to set up (cables and such)? Does this box need a special connection to my TV? Do all my video-outputs have to travel through my audiobox? (This would make it easier I must say) Is a certain audioconnection to my TV better than others? The UHD Blu-Ray player has an HDMI-Audio port, what does this mean towards the audiosystem? I find it hard to find out more on this topic. I might result to talking to an employee at an audiostore, but I want to be sincerly teached, without it being a salespitch... All help is very much appreciated. If anyone know a guide or something that would be great too.
  8. It has RAID BIOS updates and drivers though http://www.msi.com/support/mb/B75MA-P45.html#down-bios I do not care how I do it. I want to make two SSD's into one and I don't know how. ;(
  9. That might explain the missing RAID option, but
  10. I have a computer with Windows 7 Home Premium and a MSI B75MA-P45 motherboard. It says it has RAID support. I know Windows 7 Home Premium doesn't have Raid support, but does that mean my motherboard can't have it? My BIOS does not have a RAID option atm, only IDE and ACHP. I am only doing this so I can combine two SSD's, not speed, so if there is a better solution please tell me.
  11. Well, the MSI 970 comes overclocked out of the box. Silver Power SP-SS500 500W PSUhttps://www.komplett.no/product/376060
  12. I have a WIndows 7 64 bit computer with a 970, two HHD's, an SSD and a 500W PSU. 500W is a minimum for my grapichscard. Am I missing out on performance in any way? Any reason to upgrade?
  13. My old laptop used to turn it self off. Found out it was because it was overheating because of dust and trying to prevent taking damage. May be something similar?
  14. I have a computer with a MSI 970, an SSD, two HHD's, and a 500 power supply. That is the minimum for my grapichs card. Any reason to upgrade? My PSU (Norwegian, sorry): https://www.komplett.no/product/771922
