Hey, thanks for stopping by, I have a abnormal situation with my computer build. I recently traded a guy on craigslist for an incomplete, and poorly taken care of "pc system". When I got it, there were no water-cooling components save for the 2x 480 Graphics Cards, which were rusted as all hell and I cleaned and bathed with vinegar. This is my first water-cooling build, and I was so excited to set it up that I took the incomplete tower to Micro Center, and had the guy suggest the cheapest components to get this baby up and running. This was a few weeks ago, I have since gotten a bonus at work, $1,000 USD and I'm looking to create the best gaming experience. The Items I purchased at Micro Center can be returned to increase my budget if need be. The components I had to begin with are as follows: Click for Link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/HXfvGX Existing Computer Parts Owned: Case: None CPU: None CPU Cooler: Apogee XL CPU Waterblock Motherboard: None Storage: None Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Video Card Cooler: None RAM: None Power Supply: None Radiator: None Pump: EK DDC X-RES Top 140 w/ 3.2 PWM Pump. Requirements: I would like the build to have a color theme, I was thinking White, Orange, or Silver. I would like some sort of "future-proofness" I would like to game at 1440 and/or at 144Hz, (yes, I know I need a new Monitor) I

Should i ship my current case over sea's or buy a new one?
CamRank1 replied to nikolaizombie1's topic in General Discussion
I would package them all up as if you're planning to RMA the whole lot. As far as the case, go to home depot and make a makeshift box with some bubble wrap or pillows or blankets to save some money. Ship it. I used to work for UPS and they do not handle packages well at all. Tossing boxes is common practice in their shipping facilities. Take no shortcuts. They hire teenagers, treat it as if it will be handled poorly, because chances are, it will be. -

This post is exactly why I always keep the boxes for all of my components. You NEVER know when you'll need to transport them. -
Good mechanical keyboard without a numpad?

Corsair K65 RGB. All the way. -
There is that stupid Razer RGB mouse pad. That is taking this fad too damn far.

I'm 6'8" 260lbs and I am in love with my DXRacer chair I got off Amazon for around $350. It's an investment for your back and butt. So worth it.

The Beats Wireless 2 headphones. Worst investment ever.

Update is now $15.00

Modsticker.com they have EVERYTHING -
I second this. 4790k is much more solid of a processor.

Used Water Cooling Components

The guns were worth about $500USD. but to me, worthless, and a pain to try and sell as craigslist or ebay wont let you post them. Yeah, discoloration is an understatement, was trying to be optimistic lol. can I remove the block and clean it? -
I traded a few airsoft guns for a pc. My PC Part Picker link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YFrnBm The problem is I noticed some discoloration on one of the GPU waterblocks, Is this salvageable or is it completely toast?

What cool things are there at the moment?
CamRank1 replied to Prokart2000's topic in General Discussion
Google Cardboard, It's $20, so easily a relative can justify the expense, and it is well worth over 50 for the experience alone. Get over the fact that it is indeed a cardboard cutout, and jump into the 1st generation of VR for a fraction of the price.
