  1. So, As I am trying to figure out how to upgrade my MSI Trident 3 purchased from Newegg shown here --> MSI Trident 3 It currently has a 1060 and I wanted to see if I can upgrade it with this 3060 shown here --> MSI 3060 Thanks.
  2. Hi All, So, as someone with neither time nor money to dedicate to a proper gaming rig I was thinking of maybe just buying the new Mac Mini and use Nvidia Geforce Now game streaming. Most of the games i play are supported on that platform and thats what I use currently on my 8 yr old MSI prebuilt desktop. There are not alot of videos or discussions that I could find talking about the geforce experience on a mac. At $500, I think it would be an absolute steal. The other thing I also thought about was maybe going the route of a barebone NUC. Any thoughts, suggestions or possibly even an LTT Video about this would be awesome. Thanks.
  3. It charges when plugged in. Anker support says that their old desk chargers dont support the new wireless chargers on the new iPhone 12
  4. Hey Guys, So I have been using the old Anker Power Base charger for my iPhone X and recently got the new iPhone 12 Pro Max. However it seems that it can only be charged now in weird positions rather than normal portrait and landscape mode. I think this is because of either the new magnets or the actual positioning of the charging module in the phone. Browsing the webs, I do not see any chargers that say they are compatible with the new phone in the Portrait config. They can only be used on desk mats, which I do not want since I cant see notifications or watch youtube while charging the phone. Is there something out there that I am missing cause all the big guys (anker, belkin, logitech, nomad, etc.) dont have desk chargers compatible with the new larger phone. HELP.
  5. then i would have to remove it everytime i charge it, comes back to being cumbersome. I was thinking of going for the Jaybird Wireless
  6. I get that. My gf uses them for her stuff and she likes them. They honestly keep slipping out of my ears though lol.
  7. So, i recently had to retire my 4 year old Jaybird bluetooth workout headphones. This left me with my Bose QC35 II for both work (travel and office) and pleasure (sitting in the park, walking my dog, excercising) listening. I am looking at a replacement cause IEM's are much better (for this task) and lighter and i kind of do not want to use my QC35's an exercise and outdoor headphone. I liked my Jaybirds but before i go out and get their newer Semi Wireless Bluetooth headphones (the ones with a wire in-between) i wanted to see if there was anything else out there with that same level of comfort and ease of use in the FULLY WIRELESS category. I have used the airpods for a few days and was having a constant panic attack about them falling out. My ears canals do not meet the requirement to wear those. Music wise its nothing earth shattering with some new and old R&B and HipHop and the occasional EDM track. I do like the "Flatness" of the Bose where its not too punchy but lyrics are clear as well as Movie lines are clear as well. Budget would be under $250.
  8. Primarily because doing engineering modelling on a 1080 monitor is quite difficult when your zooming in and looking at items smaller than 1.5mm. the higher resolution allows you to zoom without losing too much detail and getting grainy lines.
  9. So, i have a 3 monitor setup at home for my home office. But it gets boring to be at home all day, so sometimes i just sit in a library or a cafe to do work, and the laptop screen just isnt doing it for me. I was wondering if there are any light weight high res screens out there that i can carry with me? It can be wall powered, i dont need it to be Battery Powered. There were a few old ones linus reviewed, but even the new ones are WAY to pricey.
  10. Hey guys, So i am currently using a MSI Trident (1060) variant. I am looking to upgrade my desktop display and wanted to get a fast curved g-sync panel. It seems like the cheapest options out there are these 2 Acer monitors. Use case is for 60% gaming and 20/20 split between work (documents and emails) and content consumption. I know that my 1060 is not that big to be running AAA titles at the monitors full capability (nor do i intend to do that). Any suggestions you guys have?
  11. under 200 dollars would be nice. I have seen some recent ones creep up on massdrop and was just looking at them.
  12. im using the hyperX cloud right now, but i have some Sennheiser's HD 600's comeing in and wanted to get a DAC/AMP for them.
