  1. I sacrificed my old 760K to try and get a reading into the future but it failed. It wasn't a big loss though.
  2. i do it once a month. Its just usually for cleaning all the dust that may be in there.
  3. just look around to see how many new released games either dont support SLI or have issues with micro-stutter or some other nonsense. Just for that reason i would avoid SLI.
  4. >,> pre-built system shipped with coolers that where not supported for shipping and everyone cries that its intels fault.......
  5. hmm, Good enough for now. That might be too long.
  6. what? He didnt think to do backup of his phone at home, so its apple that is on the hook for keeping his data safe?
  7. Banning guns does nothing. Criminals are not the ones that are going to actually follow the laws anyways so doing a wholesale ban is really shortsighted on the issue at hand. Strong regulation and thorough background check on every single purchase will be much more effective.
  8. I own the blackout edition and i really like it. I would say its worth it, but its also up to you to figure out if it fits your use case.
  9. nice, good stuff with the silicone lotto win man.
  10. i would guess, its just in case someone gets the mouse or keyboard without the other and they want to make it easy to tell which is the "correct" DL for their device. When in reality its just like most cases where people are told to just reboot/restart a device when its not functioning properly.
  11. i hate to say it man, but there isnt much to do to get it to move faster than it is. If you turn off the pc in the middle of updates there is a chance that something could get horribly broken and a need to reinstall the entire OS would have to happen to fix it. You just have to wait it out. I have been in this situation with my laptop too. I open it up in class for notes and updates are installing. It happens. lol
  12. I enjoy using C++ for its simple use. When im on unix/linux i prefer vi for all of my programming. vim is pretty decent too.
