  1. Okay, suppose I change the PSU to a cheaper one, what could I get for the rig? (I want to sell everything else for definite as part of the PC).
  2. My rig has 2 HDDs in it, I am gonna keep one of them. Case is beat up a little and looking for a sleeker design. And if I am honest, I am just looking to sell with minimal fuss so I am not fussed about keeping parts as it maybe 10 months or so til I build a new rig and I do not have space to keep parts.
  3. I am just looking to sell as is. I am not too sure if I am going to build a new system yet. I am cool just using my Laptop for the time being
  4. I knew very little about PC Building. The specs are: CPU - AMD FX 6300 CPU Cooler - Arctic Freezer Xtreme GPU - AMD R7 360 RAM - 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 MB - Gigabyte (Not sure on the exact model, it was quite budget) Case - Corsair 230T (Rebel Orange) - 2 LED Fans (120mm) and 1 Stock Corsair Fan (120mm) HDD - 1 TB Seagate HDD PSU - EVGA 650w G2 80+ Gold - Modular I would reckon £300 - £350 tops (I am from the UK BTW). The case is a bit beat up in places. I also have 4 screens - Dell E2009W - 20 Inch - 1680x1050 - 2 of which I do not need, which I reckon I could get maybe £50 a piece for. Thoughts and suggestions on price to sell for, probs on Ebay tbh. I am not sure if this is in the right place, please correct me if it is in the wrong place. Thanks in advance.
  5. I am a young photographer and I am looking for my own DSLR to use. I am currently using a Canon 400D and it frustrates me. I am quite a fan of Canon but I have not used any other brands and I am looking for recommendations. In terms of Budget, I am not sure but I can probably spend around £400 to £500 for the body. The camera would mainly be used for stills but some decent video capability would also be appreciated.
  6. Yeah, a 128GB SSD would probably be more than sufficient, especially as I will probably have an external HDD for mass storage.
  7. I am a Student who will be going to University in October to study Computer Science and I am looking at purchasing a laptop for use at University. It will not be my main rig. I will have a desktop in my room which I will bring from home, and the University I will be attending has excellent computer labs which I will also take advantage of. I do however want a laptop for use anywhere. It will likely be used alot for taking notes, looking at Presentations, light programming, web browsing, research and word processing. These tasks are not too strenuous GPU wise and I have no plan on doing any sort of heavy gaming on this laptop, as I will have my main rig with me as well for that, should I want to game at all. I do however want this laptop to last several years and I want it to be very quick for the tasks I want to do. My budget is around £600 and I am looking for recommendations. The laptop I am currently looking at is the one below: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/asus-k501ub-15-6-laptop-grey-10137632-pdt.html Thoughts on this one and any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
  8. Something around £75 max
  9. My CX750W PSU has just died and I am looking to get a new PSU that is not a CX Series (They have a bad rep and now I know why). I am looking for a semi-modular or fully modular PSU with room for expandability. My PC is not the most power hungry (idk why I bought a 750W in the first place) and specs are below: AMD FX-6300 R7 360 8GB RAM 2 HDDs 3 Case Fans I believe max Power consumption of my System is very low (Like 350W) but I want some overhead as well as some expandability.
  10. My PSU has just died and I need another. I have an R7 360, an AMD FX 6300,2 Hdds, a few case fans and that is about it. What PSU wattage do I need with room to expand alittle in the future???
  11. I thought it would be a Driver issue as when I was using older versions of Catalyst, it was fine. Below is all the Software stuff from AMD Radeon Settings. Radeon Settings Version - 2015.1118.123.2413 Driver Packaging Version - 15.30.1025-151117a-296567C Provider - Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. 2D Driver Version - 8.1.1.1533 Direct3D® Version - 9.14.10.1162 OpenGL® Version - 6.14.10.13416 OpenCL™ Version - 2.0.4.0 AMD Mantle Version - 9.1.10.99 AMD Mantle API Version - 98309 AMD Audio Driver Version - 10.0.0.2
  12. It stays at 100% until I change it in Radeon Settings
  13. I own a XFX R9 360 and recently, the last 2 or 3 days, when I turn on my PCrad, the GPU Fan ramps up to 100%, which is really annoying. I reset it to Auto in Radeon Setting/Crimson or whatever you wanna call it and it still does it. Really frustrating. Anyone else had this problem/know how I may fix this? Thanks in advance.

I am looking for the quietest case fans for my PC, 2 of mine are really loud and want to swap them. Thanks (120mm or 140mm).
