As long as it looks  as epic as the rest of the build, I don't need to understand how that works;)

This is what i think of when silence is uttered. Passive is truly silent. Good work OP.

If you think about it the 11 litres is actually a genius idea since the rads will be passively cooled meaning that when the warm coolant returns to this massive reservoir it will have a lot of time to naturally cool down before it goes back to cool the components. Not sure if that was the intention but I would assume that it is the reason for it's massive size

UPDATE: Custom 11 Litre Reservoir !

Personal Note: Sorry for not being in touch with you guys for so long, didn't really wanted to come here empty handed !
I was both overwhelmed with personal and professional workload but finally had some help and now I am back working on my beloved case.
Stay tuned for some cool stuff

ADS Relocation: After some epic failures with my Air Duct System, I had to rethink the design and it's placement on the case.
Finally it looks promising but that's another days discussion, now on to the cool stuff !

Custom 11 Litre Reservoir: After the ADS relocation, I had the room for a larger reservoir and it will add a significant delay on the rise of the water temperature.

I would like to introduce you to the Vault Boy, a Fallout inspired build.

For those of you who haven't seen it before, I have been working on this Bitfenix Prodigy case from about 2 months now over in the modding section. The case is now pretty much complete and I will be starting the build process pretty soon. If you want to see how the case ended up the way it looks now head over to my thread in the modding section here.

Firstly I'm gonna let you guys know the purpose of this build as I already have another pretty functional one lol. I'm gonna be using this in my bedroom as a HTPC and for console like gaming, meaning mostly games that you can play with a controller. So pretty much HTPC / Steam Box. However once it's done I will be using it as my main rig while I revamp the other one with some modifications to the case, haven't really decided what exactly yet. Also another reason I started this was because I just wanted to do some case modding for the first time and I gotta tell you it has been a joy working on this. I went with a Fallout theme and mostly with the vault boy because Fallout 3 is my all time favorite game and also I just wanted something different. Most mods for this case have been inspired by Singularity Computers.

Now, what has started as just a case modding project has turned into an actual build sooner than I thought it would.

    -   So, I have always wanted a case that would work for me. Tried out quite a few cases - modded some of them too to no avail...   So, here I am. Trying to make something that would work for me: Conceptual Design and Modelling Always loved the idea to touch the design in real life, this is where it all began !

Work started in July 2013 with the Stainless Steel frame
Working with stainless steel wasn't easy and couldn't have done it without a former colleague and a dear friend.

So here are the things you can look forward to on this project:

    CASE
90 degrees rotated mobo. Inspired by SilverStone's RV-01 SSD/HDD mount behind the mobo tray. Inspired by Linus & Fractal Design's Core 1000 mounting. Passively Cooled Loop with at least 2 480 rads, because I'm one of those silent freaks. Total build should be cooled by no more then 3 120mm fans, NF-F12's should do wonders with my air duct system. Two top left 6.3mm ports for my HD598 and XLR mic along with four usb 3.0 ports. Explained here One 5.25" bay for my BW-12B1LT. Well if you are going to put a odd, better make it rare & hard to find.  A metal structure! No wood. No Plastic. Something that's also BIG enough to put 480 RAD's, lots of em ! Angled front window to make the case look leaner then it is and to show off 400mm T-Virus from front and left  Custom 11 Litre Reservoir, check it out here DESK
Desk that's big enough to hold 2x 27" displays, 3x large vintage C/L/R speakers AND this case on top of it ! Fully modular design for easy disassemble and installation. Stainless steel frame with 10mm tempered black glass top. Design inspiration drawn from my childhood wonder the great Hardinge Bridge.
    Top of the case
      Paint Job
Front window and the Air Duct System mounts
      Now the custom reservoir space
Main structure from right back side without the SSD/HDD mounting

Behind the mobo tray SSD/HDD mounting

Any ideas or feedback would be a great help !
