My motherboard will not post unless I do a full clear cmos, removing battery, shorting jumper to clear and leaving the system unplugged for 10-15 minutes. I bought this used cuz why not? worth the risk, I got another PC. So once I installed windows and got the system running, I ran aida64 and did cpu and memory testing for 24hrs and passed, so my hardware is fine. Used a new cmos battery (2032) same problem wont POST. So then I looked around some forums and the motherboard (ASRock Z77E-ITX) people have had problems booting after using for a few months, also intel me corrupting part of the bios however when I check my bios I still can change cpu multiplier and memeory frequency. I would like to know if there is anyone else who have ever experienced a problem like this before, and If you were ever able to fix it. I bought a new pre programmed bios chip and see how that works out. So my temporary solution is to just leave the PC on, because i do not feel like resetting the cmos every time I want to just use the PC. Also it was a 3570 + The motherboard for $80 so I think its good in the end except for the POST problems. Also 1 thing I noticed is that the socket backplate you know the one that screws in with T20 screws? It looks a little concave up, maybe messing with the cpu contact with the lga pins?
