any problems, malware detected?

So i've been using motionjoy for 4-5 years with no probs, exept a few bluescreens occasionally. But i heard some rumors for malware and those ads are really,really annoying so i googled for pc drivers. Secure Erase takes like 4mins on a ssd but wiping an hdd with dban.. ohh man..

am still saving up, just having small upgrades now and then.

Any idas? (i would like also a suggestion for a recovery program, so i can test the wipe afterwards)

Yup i believe so. The data stayed the same on the cd so scanning it before or after it wouldnt bring a different result. Does downloaded files get scanned by default by malwarebytes? Wow didnt notice that. Thanks for the answer and the info buddy^^

nope, my brain just sees everything as trojaned so malwarebytes would catch it before even burning the cd? i scanned it (the cd) today (4-5 days after the burn) and nothing appeared on the results.

is it possible the dban i used to be trojaned? i dont remember if i download it from the site (i believe i did) alhough i scanned, the burned cd and copied the files (from the cd) to the desktop, with malwarebytes and they found nothing. i removed the ethernet cable during the process (wiping) if that says something edit: after the wiping had finished (around 40hours), the word failed in a red box appeared in the after screen.

i've been using it since this may, and i reinstalled it few days ago.. havent had any issues whatsoever. yup i had run several scans with malwarebytes everytime my system was clean during that period. Should i be worried? the version said pre-activated, you just put the cd in and let the magic begin

So heres the deal i've been using this pirate version of windows 7 since may and some days ago i decided to perform a wipe to my disks plus a new install of the windows. The thing is i read something about spybots and trojans being included in these versions and now am worried. The version i've been using is this anyone knows if theres a trojan included in this version? can i scan to locate it? i didnt have any issues during my usage of the computer. edit: i had my local disk scanned tons of times with malwarebytes during that time

Hello there, am currently using 2x4gb Gskill RipjawsX 1600mhz i wanna go to 16gb, should i go with a single 8gb with the same frequency or buy a kit? (I really wanna go with tge single one, so i can upgrade even more later on.. but will that effect performance?)
