I haven't updated my Nvidia drivers since 2016, whoops.

Pfffttt, that's only 2 years, on my first lappy, ever since getting it in 2008 and until I changed the shoddy HDD to a SSD in 2014, I never updated its driver :P

6 years on the same drivers, too bad updating to the newest after installing the SSD made 0% difference in performance...

Only reason I updated was because of issues with starting Dark Souls 3.

I still actually own that laptop, unfortunately its GPU has either died or needs a reflow/reball. It did run at 90C+ for over a year when my mother used it. She used a flipping laptop in her bed that had its intakes on the bottom...choking+fluff completely jamming the fan and fins = not great cooling solution :P

Ehh, I had to install the driver for my GT 710 with a DVD. WTF, it's 2018 already. Not that I have a problem with DVDs (and optical media for that matter, I've actually been wanting a Blu-Ray drive lately) but the driver from the internet (later than the one from the disc) didn't work.

@Jamiec1130 You could have always just googled for an older one and downloaded from a trusted source such as Guru3d :P

We need to start a third-party repo just for this. Wait - that already exists...
