Finally got my fucking xDuoo MT-602 tube amp from Apos. It showed as in stock when I ordered it on March 26 but apparently it actually wasn't. The stock tubes sound nearly identical to my solid state Liquid Carbon X amp but luckily I ordered some 5654W tubes beforehand and those definitely add some tubeyness to the sound. Good value for the money without having to get into the OTL tube amp price range. Second piece of Chi-Fi that I'm fairly satisfied with the other being Tin Hifi T3 IEMs which I think is technically from the same manufacturer.

An update to last week's status about an interview, I was informally offered the job and it's more like a 63% increase in pay. I have a few concerns about it that need to be addressed but otherwise probably looking like I will accept it.

Got a job interview tomorrow which will hopefully pan out well because I think it would be about a 50% increase in pay and a much shorter commute.

So my brother doesn't want to get the COVID vaccine, either from apathy or to just be obtuse. He tries to argue that he doesn't need one if everyone else gets it and claims, without any actual proof, that he got COVID at the beginning of February 2020. Before it was seriously spreading and we live in the middle of nowhere so like... He was actually quite sick then but because he tested negative for Flu he thinks it was COVID. He could have been one of the first to receive the vaccine too since he works for a school district.

So I'm not really that much of a programmer, but I'm able to learn new concepts when needed. I really only code when I have an objective in mind but I suck at coming up with objectives myself.
Javascript promises, however, is probably the most screwy thing I have learned so far. Not that the concept itself is difficult, it makes sense, but when I first looked at examples of simple implemention... my brain fizzled for about 30 minutes until it started to somewhat click to where I could play with some code.
Reason being is that I'm doing a hacking challenge website that a company uses to recruit and one of the problems only gives a function name and parameter, along with mentioning it returns a promise if resolved correctly. It took me much longer than that 30 minutes to even recognize the fact that promise and resolve were technical terms for said JS feature since some of the other challenges used similar terms that were not technical. That and the only JS I have written previously was for a start page so not exactly complex.

My only experience with writing code was a C++ technical class I had to take.
I'm sorry for your suffering

A very good use for Python

Unrelated but for some reason I really hate this phrase, especially "not much but it's mine"

I understand your frustrations and your emotions are valid. Can you tell me when you started feeling this deep resentment for the phrase? Was there a particular event where it said or did something to you?
Did it touch you??
Where did the phrase touch you? It's alright you can tell me. -
How do you do, fellow programmers? Having a good boolean day, are we?
