  1. You need to capture the WIM image of the drive, which I suppose is effectively cloning it. Ideally you could use something FOG Project or Microsoft MDT/WDS to capture it. Alternatively you can create your own WinPE image to use in order to capture it. https://www.anoopcnair.com/sysprep-capture-windows-10-image-using-dism/ Kind of a funny coincidence that you asked about this as now I'm the actual network admin (I really wasn't actually one despite my original post saying so, was more like a junior admin at most) having one of our techs build out a deployment environment.

If you want to include the likes of .co.uk, it gets even more ridiculous with some being 3 levels and some seeming relatively obscure as to ownership.
  4. That's pretty decent actually. More than I get per day with a 2TB Inland and 400GB P3700.
  5. Use this to automate it https://github.com/swar/Swar-Chia-Plot-Manager. It's written by one of the mods of the Flexpool discord. Also generally if you're doing multiple plots per drive, you don't want to exceed ~80% of the capacity or else it really slows down plotting and I also stagger plots on the same drive by an hour. Also see this graphic for the resources used during each phase I generally set the temp2 directory the same as the destination directory since my destination drive is local and I move it to my actual harvester once full. This turns the final plot copy into a quick rename instead of spending 15 minutes or copying.
  6. This is where I am currently, getting two more 18TB drives so that should be a couple weeks of plotting I think. Netspace has been going down since yesterday's network issue too so better chances at a block than a few days ago.

Finally got my fucking xDuoo MT-602 tube amp from Apos. It showed as in stock when I ordered it on March 26 but apparently it actually wasn't. The stock tubes sound nearly identical to my solid state Liquid Carbon X amp but luckily I ordered some 5654W tubes beforehand and those definitely add some tubeyness to the sound. Good value for the money without having to get into the OTL tube amp price range. Second piece of Chi-Fi that I'm fairly satisfied with the other being Tin Hifi T3 IEMs which I think is technically from the same manufacturer.

  8. The GUI is buggyish but the CLI has been relatively fine for me. Sold 4 XCH yesterday so I'm happy. If you don't have the means to get up to around 100TB or more relatively quickly then you'll be heavily reliant on luck until pool support is finalized.

An update to last week's status about an interview, I was informally offered the job and it's more like a 63% increase in pay. I have a few concerns about it that need to be addressed but otherwise probably looking like I will accept it.

Good luck on negotiating the concerns away.

Got a job interview tomorrow which will hopefully pan out well because I think it would be about a 50% increase in pay and a much shorter commute.

So my brother doesn't want to get the COVID vaccine, either from apathy or to just be obtuse. He tries to argue that he doesn't need one if everyone else gets it and claims, without any actual proof, that he got COVID at the beginning of February 2020. Before it was seriously spreading and we live in the middle of nowhere so like... He was actually quite sick then but because he tested negative for Flu he thinks it was COVID. He could have been one of the first to receive the vaccine too since he works for a school district.

Missed that ruling for some reason ? Glad that…

My only complaint is that they skipped over the question of whether APIs can be copyrighted at all.
  14. Look at the source of existing miners to see how they fetch the info, but I will say that finding a novel way of solving a single block that you know the details of already does not make a fast miner, along with the fact that Python is incredibly slow compared to the C or C++ that all the existing miners are written in. If you're only doing it for fun and learning, then just use an API of some blockchain explorer service. I'm not familiar with Bitcoin ones but an ETH equivalent would be something like Etherscan.
  15. I'm sorry for your suffering A very good use for Python Unrelated but for some reason I really hate this phrase, especially "not much but it's mine"
  16. Do you have Python installed already and are you on Windows? You don't have to use Git to download Sherlock, you can download the zip and just extract it to a folder. Then navigate to that folder in command prompt and run (assuming on Windows) py -m pip install -r requirements.txt
  17. Sherlock looks pretty cool, where are you getting hung up with it?

So I'm not really that much of a programmer, but I'm able to learn new concepts when needed. I really only code when I have an objective in mind but I suck at coming up with objectives myself.

Javascript promises, however, is probably the most screwy thing I have learned so far. Not that the concept itself is difficult, it makes sense, but when I first looked at examples of simple implemention... my brain fizzled for about 30 minutes until it started to somewhat click to where I could play with some code.

Reason being is that I'm doing a hacking challenge website that a company uses to recruit and one of the problems only gives a function name and parameter, along with mentioning it returns a promise if resolved correctly. It took me much longer than that 30 minutes to even recognize the fact that promise and resolve were technical terms for said JS feature since some of the other challenges used similar terms that were not technical. That and the only JS I have written previously was for a start page so not exactly complex.

I understand your frustrations and your emotions are valid. Can you tell me when you started feeling this deep resentment for the phrase? Was there a particular event where it said or did something to you?
      Did it touch you??
Where did the phrase touch you? It's alright you can tell me.

It's the same for me, also if you open a video in a background tab so that it doesn't autoplay, you have to specifically hit the play button to start it. I distinctly remember being able to click anywhere to start the video.
  23. What's the link speed in Windows? For mine they show as 10Gbps in the VM as well.
  24. ~2GB, could be lower but there is some stuff starting in the background I have yet to get rid of
  25. Yes, that's the complex part of the CISC name. The instruction is complex internally doing many things so that the machine code doesn't need to handle a lot of that, the instruction set does it for it. Unfortunately SVE hasn't really been implemented widely yet unlike AVX which is in pretty much every CPU made by Intel and AMD except for extremely low power chips thanks in part to ARM focusing on low power uses for so long. Yes it's a few years newer but even original AVX was more widespread at the equivalent point in time.
