Corsair Joseph got a reaction from PrimeSonic in Corsair Air 540 HDD covers
Not the biggest fan of that either, that's why we've got that part sorted out with our Air740

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from comicsansms in Corsair CX650 vs Corsair CX650M
I have a feeling that CX is the previous gen.

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from Squanchy in Corsair Air 540 Best Fan placement
I would keep the way it is - 2 x 140 intake in the front, 2 x 120 up top as exhaust, and 1 x 140 rear exhaust. I think that set up is ideal for minimum noise level. Plus, the way the case is designed, a standard set up like yours is good enough to flush warm air out of the system.

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from Bryce2254 in Corsair Power Supply HELP ME PLEASE
@Bryce2254, Sorry to hear that man. What Corsair PSU is this? The loud pop sound is definitely not a good sign. It's good to hear that you've contacted our RMA dept as soon that it happened, that way they can evaluate your case right away. Did you tell them about your 2 fans that might have gotten damaged during the paper clip test? We do normally compensate our customers in situations where it's proven (with data to back it up) that our product caused the damage to another hardware in a build.
I am sure that our RMA dept/customer service will handle your case professionally. If you run into any issues during the process, feel free to contact me.

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from ARikozuM in Corsair K95 disconnecting and reconnecting when CUE is installed.
Have you tried flashing the KB's FW? and which version of CUE are you using?
After uninstalling CUE, make sure you to delete the CUE2 folder here C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Corsair\CUE Folder
C:\User
If possible, try a different system and see if the problem follows.

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from VaPaL in Case clearance for CPU cooler
No problem at all
600Q is a pretty solid case too!

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from Energycore in Possible Power Supply Problem
Not at all, its all good At this point, we all know by now where the VS sits in our PSU hierarchy. I just want to make sure that we all deliver the correct message, that's all.
But yeah, I have to agree, the latest iteration of CXM series has been solid thus far. Our PSU team has done a great job of implementing the new spec.

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from bjsdeer in Corsair 308t similar cases
What about the Air240? That's pretty close to the 380T in terms of size and very easy to work with.
-
Corsair Joseph got a reaction from Energycore in Possible Power Supply Problem
That PSU has Over/Under voltage/current protection so it'll protect itself and your components once it detects something that's out of spec so I wouldn't really worry about it damaging other parts of your system.
If the fan is not running at all, then I would suggest that you get it replaced from Amazon OR you can always get a replacement from us via RMA process. That PSU is defective.

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from genexis_x in Corsair TX550M or EVGA 650GQ
If you're referring to the new TX-M series (black and gray label), then yes, that's a pretty solid PSU.

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from VaPaL in Case clearance for CPU cooler
We've never tested that cooler with our 400Q case so I can't tell you 100% sure it's going to fit or not, but that case will be able to handle a cooler with a height up to 170mm. That's from the boards PCB to the side panel.

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from hydrogalaxy in HX750i buzzing sound
Sounds like its coming from the fan so its not coil whine. That's actually pretty loud, I would suggest that you get it replaced via RMA right away. You can submit your RMA request here, Corsair.force.com
How is your system though? is it stable?

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from MidnightBanshi in Corsair H80i v2 not compatible with AM4
Brackets are actually on their way to our hubs, so it might take two weeks before they ship out to those who pre-ordered them.
And just to clarify, the AM4 bracket is free if you use the coupon code that we provided on our website

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from OberZine in Corsair H100I GTX Pump Failure
It does sound like a faulty pump, the fact that one tube is hot and one is not, I don't think there's liquid circulation in that unit. Did you make sure that the 3pin connector from the pump is properly seated on one of the fan headers on your board?
You can always request an Express RMA from our customer to avoid system downtime.

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from MoonlightSylv in Computer fell of desk, case foot broken
Glad to see that you were able to fix it. Otherwise, It would have been harder for us to resolve this since we don't have the feet as a spare part.
But for future reference, George would occasionally check this forum, but the main contacts here are Johan and myself

Corsair Joseph got a reaction from kirashi in Fitting a 240mm Cooler in top of Corsair Spec-Alpha Case
I appreciate the heads up. But yeah, SPEC-Alpha case does not have clearance on top to slip in a 240rad AIO cooler - that case was never designed for that particular set up. If you notice how your H100i V2 rad + fans covering the upper part of you mobo, it's almost touching the pump.
I'm just impressed that you've manged to fit that cooler in there without heavy modification

Corsair Joseph reacted to manikyath in Power Supply Program Sparking
contact either corsair or the store you ordered the power supply from, that's a failed PSU right there.
some things to note, i shouldnt have to, but just in case you're not a person who is able to understand how you contact custommer service:
- be friendly, it not the guy's fault your psu is broken.
- explain as clearly as you can what the issue is, how long you had the power supply, and when it started.
- ask what their usual policies are, and (POLITELY!) request a replacement unit.
- when they authorize an RMA, ask specificly what you have to put back in the box, some stores dont really care about the cables or the manual, others wont accept it if not every little widget is back in there.
- when you send it back, pack it as neatly and as close to original as possible, its not only appreciated that it's not just a box of junk, but it also shows you respect your hardware, making them more inclined to work with you to resolve the issue.

Corsair Joseph reacted to STRMfrmXMN in Power Supply Program Sparking
Sounds like you need to take the PSU out and send it back to Corsair right away! Contact the Corsair support page linked below. @Corsair Joseph, @Corsair Georgeand a few others from Corsair browse this forum and can probably help you if you need more help. The RMx is a good PSU, you just got a dud. Happens to the best of us.
