  1. AX650? hmm, not sure if that's really the case. That PSU will support ATX12V 2.01 systems and later. You said your board only has 10pin connector and not 20+4, what is the make and model of that board? I'm just curious if it's from an OEM system.
  2. Based on your description, I'm really doubtful that it's related to your PSU, especially after swapping it out with a different one. Does the noise change when you put your system under load? So it sounds like a bad HDD?
  3. I didn't know that we still sell those optical covers for 800D. That case is already EOL and I just checked inventory, the SKU is no longer on the list.
  4. One of my favorite cases to date :).. That one looks like its been through a lot though. If there are no major damages and if the price is right, then go for it. BUT I wouldn't pay more than $30 in that condition. Spray paint would be a solution for those scratches.
  5. Those caps on the tubes are nothing more than cosmetics, so those cracks are really non-issue. It does not affect the cooler's overall integrity nor its performance, it's more of a cover to hide the connection between the tube and the radiator. http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120418
  6. There's a few links here that might render helpful, For me, in terms of value, they are priced well for some cool features that you get with it (USB3.0, tons of fan mounts). Cable management is a bit challenging though, but overall, it's a nice little case for value builds.
  7. Yup, 650w is more than enough
  8. If the Corsair link feature interest you, then RMi would be ideal as they are C Link enable and they are solid units. Otherwise, you should look into the RMx series. It's the RMi version minus Corsair Link.
  9. That RM650x is a well built unit, kind of hard to beat in its segment at the moment given the current price. For your reference, http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=452
  10. I'd pull the trigger on that AX860i if that's indeed the price, It's hard to pass up on that deal. Plus, that's a great upgrade from your CX750M.
  11. They are great units for sure but I wouldn't really say a small version of our RMx as the OEM is different, thus the platform is not going to be the same. They do have very similar feature set though, such as 80 Plus gold efficiency, Zero RPM operation, fully modular, etc. I guess we can say that they are as good as our RMx
  12. Check out the STRAFE. it's a step down version of K70 and it's within your price range
  13. You got me, I'm not going to argue Just glad to see that many of you were disappointed by the K70 RGB.. I'm a K70 user myself, so I know what you all mean. BUT, I saw a post that mentioned the STRAFE RGB. Truth be told, the STRAFE RGB KB is really viable option next to the K70 RGB.
  14. @Cereal5 I just replied to your PM.. so yeah, there's no reason to think that 230T is not compatible with that board. You should be fine. Personally, if its only $20 difference, 450D (Obsidian) is a better buy... but that's me
  15. That's exactly right. As for the fans, RMi uses a Fluid Dynamic Bearing fan (FDB) as oppose to RMx' Rifle Bearing fan.
  16. There's definitely something wrong with that particular unit. Looks like its hooked up to a Chroma tester. If so, then it should run indefinitely at full load. We've run AX1500i's at full load for a lot longer than 2 mins with no issue. The AX1500i has been out for a while now and has been tested rigorously by renowned PSU reviewers (e.g. jonnyguru) and passed with flying colors. Again, AXi and HXi units are extremely well built PSUs, that's not a joke.
  17. You will be fine. If run into any issue with that PSU, let me now But yeah, with 970, I'd personally go RM/RMx
  18. Correct. And to be more precise, the newer revision is only pertinent to the RM750 and RM850 variants. Japanese caps on both primary and secondary with a completely new platform to go along with it. The old version are EOL for a while now, so I don't think that there's still inventory in any of the channels. You can go by the PSU's lot # to identify if its the old or new RM: New OEM (CWT) RM750 - Lot # RPS0019 RM850 - Lot # RPS0020 Old OEM (Chicony) RM750 - Lot # 75-001937 RM850 - Lot # 75-001938
  19. Looks like Moddiy has a few, http://www.moddiy.com/products/Corsair-AX850-Premium-Single-Sleeved-Modular-Cables-Set-(UV-Blue).html
  20. I don't think that the SPEC 03 has enough space to fit a 240rad cooler on top. There isn't enough clearance between the top of the case and the MB. Your only option is, single 120mm AIO coolers that can be mounted on the rear. H80i GT or V2 would be an option.
  21. If that's the "case", then you have lost of space. I'd go with H100i V2 for improved performance and cleaner look.
  22. Yup, its definitely compatible, all socket 115x I don't know what you're trying to do but, I say computer upgrade
  23. What kind of case do you have? It'd be nice if it can support 240rad. If it does, I'd rather go with H100i V2 over the H100i. V2 is the latest gen.
  24. Ah I see, I'm sure that those guys will get those fees sorted out for you. I can probably give them a little nudge if you send me your ticket #
