Hello guys, I'm planning to build a new workstation for running vmware workstation. At this moment I'm running workstation 9 on a HP Proliant ML150 G5, but if I want to upgrade the ram to 16GB, it will cost me about €600,- (=$800,- USD). So I think it is better to remove the cpu and mobo and replace it for a new one with DDR3 support. I don't want to spend more than $400,- Here are some questions: -Is it an option to use an AMD (like a FX-4300) -What is a good affordable motherboard for this use? -Are there any AMD 3+ mobo's with built-in kvm? I hope you guys can help me with this.
