  1. Thanks for the quick answers. I gave it a hard thinking and I am going with the EVGA GeForce RTX 2080Ti XC Gaming. Mainly because it's then only cad that was available and the EK-Block fits aswell. Performance is basically the same as any other 2080ti and the fact that i can remove the cooler without voiding my warranty is amazing. Can't wait till the card arrives.?
  2. Hi, I am looking for a 2080ti to watercool and I am not shure which one to buy. I was looking at the Strix and any EVGA card. Is there any performance reason to go with a custom PCB? All I know is that the limiting factor in overclocking is the power delivery, but is it worth the extra cost to go with a expencive air cooled card and watercool it? Which card would you guys recommend for watercooling? hope someone can help me with my "very important" problem. with love from ?? Sorry for my bad English, not my main language ?.
  3. I got the respond from Asus. @NumLock21 was unfortunately right. It dos not work. Neither does the X99 Deluxe. Now I have to find a workaround for my problem. find an other motherboard which supports my needs (redo the water cooling) or go with M.2 or sound card Thank you guys again!
  4. I contacted ASUS and wait for there respond. The "*" is by the 28-Lane and not by the 40-Lane, so maybe it will work. I hope this is not true . Meanwhile I will try and fit the sound card (creative soundblaster zxr) in between the Titans. Thank you guys!
  5. Thank you for the quick answer. I found some reviews and posts where people say that the M.2 shares bandwidth with the bottom PCI-E x16 port. http://www.overclockers.com/asus-tuf-sabertooth-x99-motherboard-review/ "The M.2 port shares bandwidth with the bottom PCI-E x16 port, which is important to remember if 3-way SLI/Crossfire is to be used."
  6. Hi, I am planing to upgrade my PC to: Asus Sabertooth x99 i7 5930k some DDR 4 Ram also some M.2 in the future I currently have 2 Titan X water cooled and a sound card which I want to keep. Now the PCI-E layout of the board: PCIe x16_1: 1. graphics card (x16) PCIe x4_1: blocked by water cooling PCIe x16_2: 2. graphics card PCIe x1_1: blocked by graphics card (x16) PCIex16_3: sound card So my question: Is this layout gonna work with a m.2 drive? I am not sure if the PCIex16_3 is working when a m.2 drive is used. I do not want to run into a PCIe lane problem or something like that. The main reason I want to go with this board is the gap (3 slots) between the 2 graphic cards. (My 2 Titans are connected by a 3 slot bride.) I could not find a other Asus board with that layout that fit my needs. I hope someone can answer this. Sorry for my bad English
