  1. Short throw projectors are one of the best media consumption innovations ever. Being able to enjoy a large screen without having to worry about how far the projector has to be is amazing.
  2. turns out it was a usb device causing it. Thank you for you suggestion.
  3. So yesterday my computer had a random black screen crash of some kind and since that happened it has been taking about a minute to get past the MOBO splash screen and start booting windows. Once windows starts booting it is just as fast as it always was. Does anyone have any idea what I should be looking at to try and fix this. I can't seen to find anything through google.
  4. The max budget is $175 so the 4GB model is too high. That is why I am asking .
  5. I am trying to decide between a r9 380 2GB or a gtx 950 because they are about the same price right now and from what I can find they are very similar in performance. I like that the 950 is more power efficient but I though the 380 was on par with the 960. So I am looking for some other opinions and experience.
  6. 21:9 monitors are over $1000 dollars and a good 4k is around $400-600 and will have more usable space. as much as I like 21:9 it is less space than 4k.
  7. ok thank you for this information. it is as i feared 28 inches just is too small for 4k. Now I just have to decide if want to wait and see if any companies are releasing a 4k 32" or higher g-sync monitor in 2015 or if I should just go for the AMH A399U when I have the money.
  8. so 28 inch 4k requires scaling for it to really be usable?
  9. That is why I was looking for others opinions on 28 inch 4k because on the 39 inch 4k it is the same pixel density as 1440p 27 inch which requires no scaling.
  10. As noted above 21:9 is just too expensive still and is less usable space than a 4k panel.
  11. I already have 3 monitors, a 1440p 27 inch main, a 24 inch 1920x1200 in landscape, and a 24 inch 1080p. I am personally not a fan of working across so many monitors and would like to get down to one mane that I do work on and a side monitor or other.
  12. right now 21:9 is just too far out of my budget so 4k is the next best thing with the same number of pixels wide but more height.
  13. So I just got myself a zotac 980ti amp extreme and want to upgrade to 4k. I was originally looking at the AMH A399U but it is about the same dpi as my current 1440p monitor meaning I would get more usable space than my 27 inch but I wouldn't get the increased sharpness like I would on a 27 or 28 inch 4k monitor. So I was looking for some opinions about whether I should get a 27-28 inch 4k for the extra sharpness or just go for the more functional larger monitor with the same sharpness as a 27 inch 1440p. I would like more usable space for programming and working on projects but I am not sure if a 27 inch 4k will give that to me.
  14. I am looking for cat6 modular connectors to redo some wiring and I can't seem to find one with a lot of good reviews. On amazon there are quite a few different one but some have the loader some don't, I don't know if the loader is required for proper cat6, and none of them have a sizable amount of good reviews. I need ones for UTP or strand wires. So I am hoping there is some one here who knows what they are doing with this stuff and can help me.
