    I have this keyboard, it's great: https://www.amazon.com/Azio-Backlit-Mechanical-Keyboard-MGK1/dp/B00OBA6QYY
I don't know if you can get it in Europe, but it's a good price in the US.

Really bad mh/w, you'll earn literally nothing while chewing up more power than the actual earnings and stressing the shit out of your new card

EthanCGamer got a reaction from hydrogalaxy in Is it better to use x2 dual gpu cards or x4 single gpu cards?
With the way things are going with Nvidia, a single high power GPU is the best course. Also, If you're wanting the second GPU for rendering and gaming at the same time, you'll need a beefy CPU for that. Don't bother.

With gold mining you'll at least get a few grains of gold if you spend a few days doing it, with crypto mining you'll only get a large power bill.

Ask over at egpu.io's forums, they're super helpful with EC eGPU. I think you may have to disable the dGPU to allow more memory space or install Clover to do a memory override, but it should work.

I used this on a Dell laptop I had a while ago with a 650Ti. It worked decent and I didn't get any crashes but you probably only get 50-60% of the card when using this. As it turns out, ExpressCard doesn't offer a whole ton of bandwidth.

Newer nvidia drivers can use compression for around 80% of bandwidth now, its pretty good.

Then you shouldn't even worry about getting a really big UPS. Just get an 'active' UPS (the kind that has no switching delay from line power to battery power) with USB that will provide power commands, and you'll be fine. I lived in Texas where thunder was a big problem, and the power always went out. My Dad uses an old APC ups with USB commands, and it works to prevent any damage. The batteries last for two minutes on idle for his PC, but it's only to safely power down the PC.

EthanCGamer got a reaction from Artemiis in Can you add 2 of the same RAM kits together?
Yes, just double check the timings using CPUZ, you wouldn't want one set of ram being bogged down by another. If it is the exact same ram kit, you should be fine though.

Could be an issue with your psu, but even than it would be odd. Try reseating your ram and make sure the connectors are not loose on your motherboard.

...That's why you don't buy the warranty for the listed price... The same as a car dealership you wait until the last deal they offer and then say yes, as infuriating as that whole system of haggling is.

Which celeron? And 4GB of RAM is enough for that. Also are you sure he won't use heavy programs for architecture stuff?

You need DisplayPort 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4 (doesn't matter which) and comes with the cable you need.

As far as insurance that's something up to you, some people suggest it some people suggest away from it. It's like the lottery, just with higher chance of a much lower reward. If you need to use it, it pays for itself but on average a user won't get their money out of it (Bestbuy exists to make money). And remember, it's not an extended warranty, it's a service plan *wink wink*.

EthanCGamer got a reaction from SimpleG in Switching from APU + GPS to APU only
Yes, all you need to do is unplug the GPU and move the HDMI. I'd also uninstall the old drivers to free up some space. If your APU is as old as your GPU be ready for a pretty sharp drop in performance. I'd recommend finding a cheap used Nvidia 700 series or replacement AMD 200 series GPU for now.

EthanCGamer got a reaction from Speakerator in "Overclocking" Monitor - does it hurt?
In my own experience, yes. I killed my laptop panel by clocking it to 80 Hz from 60, and had to install a new one. That being said, I have two displays that heartily accept 75 Hz out of the box, a Gateway 1200p monitor from 2008 that will refuse anything over 75 (probably a safety feature) and a cheapo Dell 4:3. Side note: Most Dell displays clock to 75 Hz really well, I got about 50 of them in my computer lab in High School up to 75.

This is actually my first time replying on forum.
I went to high school and college in Canada for about 4 years. I know my English is not perfect and I am still working on it.

As you guys know most of us went to BCIT together and we have known each other quit well. Berkel is my best friend in Canada(maybe). that would be weird if he actually treated me too nice. He helped me a lot on moving here, settling down in Canada a lot more that you guys won't see behind the camera. Any jokes he made didn't bother me and they were entertaining for me as well.

If there were actually a racist or uncomfortable work environment at LMG, how would I abandon all my friends and family and moved away from Taiwan? I enjoy working here with all the great people. thank you for your consideration though. it's all good.
