If you enable network connection in safemode then yes. You can download the program from another computer (if you have one) or in safemode itself but with network connection enabled. After you installed the program you just uninstall the drivers and boot into normal mode again. Then you just reïnstall the newest drivers from the AMD website.

Jeez, teachers can be so abusive of their power, I've had my fair share of dodgy teachers in the past, best to just keep a tutor informed of what they're doing as much as pos. In my college tutors are just running off without any warning so it's disrupting my education a lot lol and now we have some stupid tutor who thinks taking notes during lectures is bad and all that. But yeah, i'm not surprised why the teachers in my school got locked in storage rooms now :\

Very true! It's just a shame I can't find the 280x new. Either way, found a deal for the R9 380x at £200 which is only £5 more than the 380, I figured that would be worth it i hope! considering one of the major factors i'm looking for are is how long they will last.

The difference between a 380 and 380x is only a couple fps, it's not worth the price difference (isn't 20 pounds 40 bucks US exchanged), as @App4that said a 280x may be a bargain item you could find, other wise just get the 380 as the difference between the two isn't much since the 380 is basically a 285 (not a 280) and the 380x is a 280x.

Follow your topics. At 20 pounds, it's worth it. At anything higher than 30 it's not.

Not worth it in my opinion. The 380 will overclock to 380x performance, but of course the 380x will also overclock. I'd look for a Sapphire 280x and have the same performance for less money.
