deguzi got a reaction from SenKa in How much to charge for Tech Support?
corporate costs range from $30-$100/hour based on the level of support.

deguzi reacted to DildorTheDecent in Overclocking q6600 lga775
It's 775. the socket is so old, and the processors are so cheap that nobody cares anymore.
There's nothing wrong with the tape mod. Loads have done it and been fine. As long as OP doesn't have buckets as hands he/she/it will be fine.

deguzi reacted to Enderman in AIO maintenance?
You can't refill them.
All you can do is clean out the dust from the rad and replace the AIO if it fails.
I've had my H100i for like 6 years now or something crazy like that, still working fine.
-
deguzi reacted to dizmo in AIO maintenance?
Do you see any performance degradation? If not, then no maintenance is needed.
I don't believe you could perform maintenance even if you wanted to, since it wasn't designed with that in mind. They're so cheap that you'd just go out and buy a new one.

deguzi reacted to Mooshi in WD Black or Blue for a gaming rig?
Slow in relation to an SSD, 2 platter drives with the same amount of cache and rotation speed won't be drastically different from one another in real world use.

deguzi reacted to BYOGamingPC in {US/UK} Cyber Monday Holiday Deals 2016 Compilation List
If anyone is interested in this list I tend to put one together each year for deals around the Holidays. I usually share it with friends and family but also post it on here if it's helpful for anyone. I do try to keep it as updated as possible but I am merely human and am just as busy as anyone else during the Holidays. If you have any suggestions or corrections please feel free to make a comment and I'll try to make edits to keep it fresh. It is shared to the public so feel free to share it with anyone else. Enjoy!

deguzi reacted to Shiv78 in Bluetooth headphone w/mic recommendation (iphone 7)
Watch MKBHD's X3 video. Basically:
Pros of X3:
same battery life smaller, nicer design (flush with ears) slightly better sound more colors slightly more comfortable ear fins Cons of X3 besides higher price:
weird proprietary charging thingy as opposed to microUSB battery in remote, making it bulky and unbalanced soft bag instead of hard-shell, rubberized carrying case Overall I'd get X2s instead

IDK, haven't tried.
Probably not very, as they do stick out a bit. X3's are pretty much flush with the side of the head tho

We just see this question a lot. To an absolutely silly degree. And since a simple search will answer the question I hope you can understand the response.

A tad overkill, but since he uses it professionally the extra oomph certainly won't hurt. And the iGPU will be more than enough for online poker.

Either join a team or create your own and sign up on esea/cevo. Until then, stop whining about MM.
I'd advise against playing MM because it's only teaching you bad habits that'll be harder for you to break later on down the road should you ever make it past open.

deguzi reacted to Dr.Moddnstine in My 1995 IBM Aptiva. 486dx2 to i7 6700k. Not 56k safe.
Hello all! Long time LTT fan, new to the forum. I wanted to share my build, as it's really been a labor of love for the past month. I trash picked it from a local computer store in December, and it's come a long way since then.
It started life in 21 years ago 1995 with a 486dx2 running at a mind blistering 66mhz, with a massive 4mb ram, and 1mb video memory. The 3.5 floppy disk could hold a maximum data capacity of 1.44MB. As of a few days ago, it now has a an Intel i7 6700k running at 4.3ghz, 16GB's of 3000mhz ddr4 ram, and 8GB's video memory. The 3.5 floppy drive can read up to 512GB of data from a single diskette. This was not a plug & play build. Massive amounts of cutting, fabrication, welding, grinding, a filing were required. It was awesome.
Here's the full build with gifs for proper demonstrations of the floppy drive in action: http://imgur.com/a/fvh1M
