So basically my current hard drive is failing (not yet gone) and I need to change to a new one. My question is that I have game files from steam on my SSD but the steam client is installed on my failing hard drive. Will these files be affected in any way? Also when reinstalling the os which was originally on my HDD will i be bale to install it on my SSD even though it has miscellaneous files on it? And finally is there any way I can switch the majority of my drivers over to my SSD before the change to make everything easier? Thankyou in advance <3

Would this happen when you were active on your pc or only when it was actually idle?

No blue screens, just lock ups. Not sure of the load because it crashes before i can see.

I seriously need help with this. For the past two weeks my pc has been freezing and locking up until I restart it. I have done some research and found that my svchost.exe was running at an extremely high memory rate but after disabling superfetch it has gone back to normal. I have done tons of virus scans with various programs such as malware bytes and hitman and they all turn up negative. My system only crashes when gaming as well. GPU: GTX 780 CPU: i5 3570k at 3.4ghz

Hello everyone. So I just recently ordered a second 1080p monitor(benq xl2420te) and I have a gtx 780. I am wondering if and how I can set it up so my games are only present on one monitor but I can have the second one constantly browsing the internet. Or if it was a problem just have it display nothing when I play games so it is not stretched over two monitors. Thank you in advance!

So I want to switch my pc to wired Internet connection instead of using powerline adapters. My pc is upstairs but my modem and router are downstairs. Is there any way I can get wired Internet without drilling holes in my floor?

So i just got my 780 and i absolutely love everything about it (its the gigabyte version) Anyways just out of pure curiosity would sli be worth it? I hear many different things about it both good and bad. So do the good things about sli outweigh the bad or is it not worth it?

this card is absolutely amazing! Skyrim with over 50 mods including an end will not drop from 60 fps on my 60 hz monitor!

When I press control everything gets messed up

It's a sidewinder x4 also when I press it in game it activates something that makes other keys open programs and I know it's not sticky keys because I checked -
Whenever I press control on my keyboard wich is fairly new it highlights a desktop icon. Also if I press a or d it scrolls throught them. How do I stop this

The 660 sc is a great card but if you can afford it go with the 660ti, Also dont disregard amd's never settle bundle so maybe look at a 7850 or 7870
