Dont consider this as an entry since mineral oil is not my thing. Too much work for me. Just wanted to post some words for Puget Gotta hate those patent trolls. I hope that Puget finds a solution soon and can resume production in the future. If not, I hope you can continue to create unique kits like these for enthusiast. You guys are real PC enthusiast and have helped people make their dreams become a reality. I hope you will continue to do so in the future.

I cringed so hard right before the outro. I could almost feel it. Poor Linus. I bet $20 that someone is going to go to the hospital.

Awesome. All I need is battleblock theater. Just finished castle crashers and was totally worth the $1.50 I paid.

Awesome. You can watch four 4k movies without any information loss at all. Though its useless for a regular consumer, its going to be awesome for content creators. Imagine your preview window being in native 4k while working on it. Freaking awesome.

Pretty sure the people behind him are laughing at his attempts

This is @Slick and his dad The build is awesome though. I never would have though of that, but it serves as inspiration for my future build.

The closest one is 9 hours away. I think the gas will cost more than the cpu itself. Though I wonder if I can get some family that lives nearby to buy one and ship it to me for cheap?

Guide: Modding Your GTX 780 Ti Colour Scheme
MasterJV replied to Dicehunter's topic in Guides and Tutorials
This is how the Titan black should have looked like. Nvidia should take note of this. -
Awesome. If it had the same PCB as the 980, than this is water cooling ready too. Edit: Dammit, just a placeholder. For me it's not worth the extra $30 at best buy for the shroud, even though its soooo sexy. I'll probably just get the gray zotac one or the itx version. More in line with my budget

Female Video Game Reviewer Contacts Mothers
MasterJV replied to Artificial Ignorance's topic in Tech News
We need more people that don't just complain about their problems online but actually do something sane to resolve them. Good on her. -
Get whatever suits your needs. Have a itx machine? Get the 295X2. Want efficient and cool cards? 970 SLI. Want better looks? Get the one that suits your taste. Also take into consideration the price. If one is a lot cheaper than the other, get the cheaper deal

Awesome video as usual. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun with this video. Can't wait for the body paint one Edit: Looks like we are getting the shock collar video. Can't wait for that one

Such wisdom found in the intro. And don't stop of innuendo! That's what makes Linustechtips, well... Linustechtips.

The Crew will not have pre-release reviews, says Ubisoft
MasterJV replied to IdortMasterRace's topic in Tech News
It's an online game. You can't review it without having others online as well. Isn't that the point of this game, to have a crew that you can race with online? It's called "The Crew" after all. Even performance reviews from before the game launched are almost useless since nobody knows how it will perform with 10,20,30 or more racers in the same area. Edit: What monsters have we created. It seems as though the 12 year olds see a ubisoft post and immediately post a keep on digging meme. -

[Anandtech] ASRock with first onboard 10GbE get your wallets ready
MasterJV replied to capawesome9870's topic in Tech News
Definetly not for your average Joe. Really cool that they are doing this, someone needs to take the first step. Glad asrock has the guts to do it. -
Will the badges show up next to your username? If so, do I have to enable it? Could only get the bronze but I still want to wear it with pride

Awesome, has a better OC than the gigabyte one and is the same price. Though the Gigabyte one is smaller so I guess it depends of the chassis of the person .

Sorry, the search button and google didn't bring up the results so I went ahead and posted it.

Agreed, though Dell's P series in which this monitor falls into is meant for Work stations and offices. Thats the only place where I see a 4k monitor being used atm unless you have monster Rig capable of 4k gaming (dual 980/290X.) Maybe next generation we will start seeing even cheaper monitor and more capable cards.

Dell is now offering 60Hz 4k monitor starting at $599 for the 24 inch model and and extra $100 for the 27 inch model. What makes these special? They are IPS. Best part is that you can buy them on Dell website RIGHT NOW! The only downside is that the stand doesnt feature height adjust but fortunately Dell didn't commit of sin of not including a vesa mount. For more details, the link to Dells store is below for both versions along with the TechReport article as well. http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=860-BBFF (24 Inch) http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=210-ADOF (27 inch) http://techreport.com/news/27385/dell-latest-4k-displays-bring-ips-goodness-down-to-600

Question for those of you who have had a build sponsored...
MasterJV replied to weaverwacker's topic in Cases and Mods
Im not the right person to ask, but i do have a few tips. Get your name out there to the point where people can say "Have you heard of X newest build bro?" "totally bro, looks awesome." Since you said you have very little money to spend on pc hardware, reuse parts. Mod the crap out of old cases you can find or make your own (Junk yard and pick and pull can be helpful places.) Show them your worth sponsoring and that you are serious about modding.
