Does anyone know of a app that would allow for two or more people who without cell connection or wifi like say in the woods in the middle of nowhere would allow them to message each other and maybe talk to each other also kinda like walkie talkies

New PC for Gaming and amateur Video editing
XI1stIX replied to MrHiei's topic in New Builds and Planning
the performance of crossfire is fine i used it on my PC for 3 years. Now it is true the having two cards does not give you a perfect 100% power boost but its close look at this bench mark to see 7970 GE vs 680 GTX single and crossfire http://www.anandtech.com/show/6915/amd-radeon-hd-7990-review-7990-gets-official/10. you will see the 7970 does mange a perfect 100% power boost where the 680 falls a bit short of perfect at least in the first result . -
NZXT sells single colored LED strips $10 for 1M length and $15 for 2M length. then there is the NZXT HUE which is good if you want to be able to change the color at will but cost $30. Then the bitfenix alchemy strips witch are about $30 for 60cm. all options look great just google image search to see builds using them if you want to compare.

i agree both are very stable only thing i see other than the shared downsides of both is that AMD is still working on their crossfire eyefinity micro stutter driver i think so that would be something to think about for a eyefinity gaming setup. I would like to know what crossfire problems he is concerned about. -

if you plan on doing video editing you might want to think about a AMD gpu they do very well for video rendering check anandtech post for proof http://www.anandtech.com/show/7400/the-radeon-r9-280x-review-feat-asus-xfx/19 -
i don't think they are confirmed yet but most people guess 500 for 290 and 650 for 290X.
