Huh, it's all brand new computer parts... I havnt done anything besides mess around in the bios a little bit. This is really frustrating for building my first computer. Their I thought it was going to be reletively easy but right off the bat I have an issue no one seems to know how to fix. Gahh I just wanna be able to finally be able play some games!!! Thanks for all your help, if you shve any more ideas please tell me as Ive hit a brick wall.

I'm having trouble getting the laptop to access the bios, either I'm doing something wrong or it's just locked the bios seeing as it's a work administrated laptop.

Sorry I'm a little confused, so I should boot up the windows copy on the laptop which already had windows? What do I do on the laptop to do so, the only option I have is setup.exe when I try.

So boot via setup.exe?

What can I find out from booting up the bios on another laptop?

No the computer im working on is my own, my personal laptop is not at my house, and I was testing the dvd drive with one of my parents work laptops. Sorry for the confusion.
