  1. I am looking for a 2nd hand cheap phone with a good camera that can record at least 720p around 120fps. Maybe I can salvage the parts and use for an electronics project. Know any models?
  2. would the xeons around 2.5-3ghz be more favourable?
  3. I tried but seems I have a bad CPU, can't get stable over 4.6ghz
  4. so it doesn't work with non ECC ?
  5. Budget (including currency): £200 Country: uk Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: unreal engine development Other details i currently have a 6700k which seems to take forever in unreal compiling code and shaders which I think I need more cores for. would it be a good idea to swap the CPU +mobo for a Xeon low speed but many cores? This one is pretty cheap: Intel Xeon E5-2650L-V3 (SR1Y1) 1.80GHz 12-Core LGA2011-3 CPU however not sure what where to find cheap motherboard for this ideally to be compatible with my ddr4 2 sticks and M2 SSD.
  6. are there any wired mice with detachable cables? I end up swapping the mouse between 2 computers right next to each other and thought it would be easier to just have 2 cables already plugged into the computers and be able to swap from the mouse side instead of the back of the computer, like I do with my razer black widow. But the only ones seem to be wireless, and even then some only use the wire for charging instead of mousing.
  7. There you go then, wasn't that what you were saying changes EVERYTHING about it?
  8. This source says if you downgrade the BIOS, you can.
  9. Check this http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/j9RHVn all for just a bit over the price of an i7 4790k. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if there is a way to overclock non-K skylake CPUs then with a decent cooler I would get close to the i7?
  10. My FX 6300 is really capping my 980 Ti's performance as I'm only getting around 60 fps on GTA V at 1080p on very high settings, similar to what my old r9 270 was getting. I researched quite a bit and many people have different ideas about CPUs, saying a dual core i3 would smash a last gen quad core i5 or even i7, but the 980 Ti is a pretty high end GPU, and pairing it with an i3 just doesn't sound right to me. I'd really like some help with what CPU I should to upgrade to. Many people suggest one that supports DDR4, and the new skylake CPUs are very power efficient, so they might be a better choice than an 4th or 3rd gen intel CPU. What I'm getting at is that it would be great if someone could clarify the cheapest CPU I need to maximise the performance of my 980 Ti. If you could, I would appreciate a motherboard and RAM recommendation if you say GO DDR4.
  11. I have an Element ESIB-96Y6 Mouse, a DLJdirect mouse pad, a Viglen EZ9920 and a Nemesis Akuma Headset. I would appreciate a new mouse or full peripheral setup would be prefered. These noobs don't need a new mouse, they need a life.
  12. i need a good projector but dont have much space so something like this would make a lot of sense
  13. When i turn on my computer, it comes up with the asus logo screen with info on buttons 2 press for BIOS and stuff as always but now, after that, comes up a screen that lists my components and at the bottom says my psu has failures and asus psu surge detects it and saves the day . this never used to happen. i then have to press f2 to boot up the old windows and then i can use my computer normally. this first occured when i moved my system into a new case. only differo is that i now have 3 case fans and led lights at the front. also, when pressing the on button, the lights and fans go on for about a sec, then go off, then back on. is there any way to skip this screen or eliminate it altogether? it would be really nice for me. would this stop if i bought and migrated windows to an ssd? my beastly comp. specces asus m5a78l-m lx3 fx 6300 r9 270 1tb wd blue evga 500b 500w windows 8.1 dvd drive THANKS!!!
