  1. I will be using 2 GPU as well, so how will that impact the GPU?
  2. Hi, I am having a very hard time choosing the parts I need for the pc I want to build. I want to have a SSD as the primary, now whether its a Intel 750 SFF I dont know, because I look at reviews or such and It gets very confusing for a new guy. I will use the Asus X99 Pro MB and my question is.. Will the Intel 750 SSD SFF be compatible and easy to connect with this MB?. also is this SSD compatible with RAID 0?
  3. The truth is, I have no where near the experience to even know what is best for me. All I know, I have heard from those who want fast performance. I just watched the video you provided and it was great thank you. Now the truth is I will only be using 2 GPU in the Asus X99 Pro and who knows in the future so I believe the Small Formfactor 750 SSD will be the choice I make. Lastly, will this Intel 750 SSD SFF work with my Asus X99 Pro MB and the 2 GPU at the same time( I say this because there is informationg on the asus x99 pro that states problems if many of the lanes are used which I am extremely new to even know.), I would appreciate your help. Chris
  4. I am so very sorry. Yes I have been busy trying to find part for a new build and I swayed from this forum because I would mostly in other post's get help that was asking me questions.. And that is ok but I need help not more questions, and it comes down to all the people that are on the forum and hopefully the 'great' ones are online to see. I will follow more strictly now on and thank you!
  5. I only want to have all the advantage's I can in load times in any application or game .
  6. Hello again I am going to use the Asus x99 pro Motherboard in my upcoming build and my plan is to have 2 SSDs in RAID-0 and 1 TB HDD. I don't know how this motherboard works in those terms, but I have heard to use M.2 for the RAID operation.. can you help me with this please?. Preferably I would like to use the top and most reliable SSDs and top value, either Intel or Corsair I have also heard, but I don't know how many GB to use for top performance and load times. I Really appreciate this help. Chris.Y
  7. thank you for all your comments! I will get on to looking now
  8. Hello again, how are you Guys. I have chosen the Asus X99 Pro MB for my build and I have tried to find out the optimum RAM for it on my own but I am confused so here I am. So what DDR4 brand and amount is best for the Asus X99 Pro. I prefer only 16GB total on this MB, so how would I need to buy it . thank you Chris.Y
  9. Hi Red Sphyxis. By double I guess I want 2x 150mm fans on top of the case with Rads...Basically I want my pc to run cool and quiet. Monitor I dont have a clue really, I have seen linus videos and he suggests some with display port, grey to grey response times 1-2ms high hertz and input lag under 10ms.. that is straight from his video . Also I guess I trust ASUS and I have been with asus with my laptop too. And thanks for the GPU advice.. I will put it in my list. I did give a budget, around max $4000 AUS.
  10. Hi LinusTechTips, It really is good to have found such a informational channel and site thanks.. So as to not waste time, I am in the process of planning to build my FIRST PC. I did read the helpful topic to post properly so I will do my best. ...So I need your help choosing compatible, great performance and quality parts. This PC will be gaming oriented with medium to heavy multitasking, watching videos having music on desktop playing while In-game and I appreciate a PC that will be fast when given any order. I am interested in a.. Asus motherboard(ATX/full atx). Intel core i7 Possibly 2 Nvidia GPUs in SLI (I have a Laptop at this time with a nvidia 770m so anything better than this) I will want to have double Radiator's for cooling SSD's in Raid 0 with a safe HDD on the side(which I have no idea how to do) great monitor(single for now, hopefully more later on) I know I have not given you all components I want to use(like the case and others), because I am using Lifehack's tutorial thing lol on how to find the parts I want.. But that is where I am stuck now. The reason for the build is, my current laptop is not helping my gaming and there has been things done to it that I don't know how to fix and I really prefer to build a PC for the first time, and this will also help me to know about future issues. Also A pc is the better option for gaming they say. That is all I can expand on for now and most importantly.. I am willing to spend up to $4000 more or less on all of this. And I really want this to last, splendid for gaming and be great for expanding on in the future. I hope I provided the main names and my plan. I appreciate this help very very much, Chris Y....
