Most 3D renders don't use AMD cards because their openCl compiler doesn't work.

At the moment cycles can only use Cuda (which is only avaible for Nvidia), they are working to let opencl work for cycles, but there is a problem with the opencl compiler on AMD's side, they have been working on this for a few months but still it doesn't work, because AMD doesn't fix their opencl compiler. So at the moment you can only nvidia cards for 3D rendering, the viewport works, but you can't use the accelerated rendering. (Which is fantastic!)

I use Blender myself and I would recommend the 750ti because that's the only one of the two that works with cycles. AMD cards don't work with cycles at the moment and AMD isn't really working on it.

Then go for the 750ti, the nvidia cards have a slightly lower performance inside the viewport but have support for cycles. I myself use a 660ti for blender + cycles.

What 3D software do you work with? What rendering do you mean, 3D rendering, video rendering?

So you would give up all your privacy for the few people who commit crimes? I hope this never happens, this makes the goverment way to powerfull.

Well it gets 60 fps but dips down to 5 when loading areas and when I'm doing some crazy redstone stuff I only get 20

Hello guys, I recently built my pc and started playing some games on it and everything ran fine (Crysis 3, bf3) but when I launched minecraft it didn't run fine. It lagged all over place, when I looked at the gpu and cpu usage (cpu: 22-35% and gpu 5-10% idling) So I'm thinking that minecraft uses the hd4000 instead of the GTX 660ti, I tried to add Java to the nvidia control panel, but it didn't change anything. -I have 64-bit Java -Cpu: i7 3770K -Ram: 16Gb I tried reinstalling java but it didn't help, on my laptop I had the option to change the gpu, but the desktop control panel doesn't seem to have the option. Can anyone help my? Thanks in advance!

Sure, now the ISP are trothling everyone who even uses youtube or Netflix, I can't see me using a pc where I have to wait half an hour to buffer a high quality 1080p video.

You will get some gain in every game with some fps, but not by a lot. You would benifit more with a better GPU
