  1. I appreciate all the feedback. I kind of suspected what you all have been reporting. I was on the fence about it, and have been for over a year. Yes, 16MB of ram would be a bit short, eh? LOL. I suppose I'll just keep an eye out for a nice i7-6700K with MB and RAM. It will pop up one day and scream "BUY ME!"
  2. I am currently running with a i7-2600K with 16MB of memory. I spend most of my time just running around on the web and streaming video with some moderate gaming. I've got a GTX970 that's runs everything in 4K nicely. I did upgrade all my drives to Samsung 850 Pro just a year ago or so. I built this system (mb, cpu, memory) over 5 years ago. Is it time for an upgrade? IF I'm going to do it, I'm not looking to spend more than $4-500. IF I upgrade, would I see much of a performance gain for the money? I keep thinking..."Surely my system has become archaic, right?" However, I'm not really having any issues with it, and I'm not going to spend the cash if all I'm going to get is a 10-15% bump in performance. If we are talking, bigger numbers, then I'd probably do it. Just spend some time looking for a good deal, and jump on it when the price per performance looks too good to pass up. What thinkest thou? TIA
  3. While it is amazing that it has taken this long for desktop computers to go "tiny", Zotac has apparently done a fine job of balancing small vs. powerful enough to make sense. Honestly, the uses for a smaller profile desktop box are endless. Everyone should get one...shouldn't they?
  4. While not the most popular, I'm the most intrigued by the mouse pad. Many don't understand how important that part of your rig matters.
