Apparently, Edge for Android is a reskinned version of Chrome.

Or at the very least, it uses the Blink rendering engine, rather than EdgeHTML.

The Android version of Edge, and Chrome both renders it the same way, which does not match how EdgeHTML renders it.

Also worth noting that, unlike iOS, Android does not prohibit the use of third party browser engines. Mozilla for example uses their own in Firefox for Android.

    Haha, that would have been newsworthy.

    No, what I am saying is that for some reason Microsoft has decided to not use their own rendering engine for Android (and obviously not on iOS either since Apple doesn't allow it).

    Seems weird that they would spend so much time and effort into developing EdgeHTML, but then not use it.
