i think that the ultra short distance throw is amazing, especially if it was incorporated into say the foot of a bed - anyone could have a 60"+ projector even in smaller living conditions e.g. a dorm room! the price isn't terrible considering projectors as a whole but as a student with my previous comment in mind, i sure wouldn't mind trying out that! An ultrawide monitor for my dad, he's been running his own business for the past few years, he's been working on his spreadsheets with just a tiny 4:3 monitor. Also, after giving him my netflix password it physically pains me to see him attempt to split screen it along side one of his spreadsheets. http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-25UM57-25-Inch-LED-lit/dp/B00V8FAWC2 I think this'd give the old guy a bit of a break and let him unwind whilst he toils through his work.
