  1. Wow, Would really love this for my Home Theatre setup! Looks great and practical as I rent at the moment and have a large overhead projector taking up a heap of room and even having to mount a support on the ceiling. Most practical projector I have seen yet.
  2. Wow that sure is commitment. Good luck you have way more patience then I could ever have.
  3. Panasonic are the only company really doing it and its pretty much only the US getting the option to have one. http://www.panasonic.com/au/consumer/tvs-projectors/led-lcd-tvs/th-l65wt600a.html
  4. No but I searched up how to do it on another forum basically taking off the cover of the heat sink is separate so its quiet easy. Spray painting a white metal primer then hitting it with a baby blue. Same for the sound card which was originally red and red leds that I took off and soldered on just one blue led as they are quite bright. Back to the Graphics Card I also sanded off the green paint from geoforce GTX logo so it was white. Unfortunately it was completely short circuited after a link occurred in my other build (user fault). So now it stands on my shelf forever a reminder of what I shouldn't have done... fuck up haha.
  5. Hey guys, It's been a while since I last done my first build log with my ridiculous corsair 900D and GTX Titan and after a few dramas (none the less finished) water cooling that baby it was time I moved on to my next build of a HTPC. Case - Corsair 350D CPU - Intel i5-4670 Motherboard - MSI Z87M-G43 GPU - Nvidia Geoforce GTX 780 - Asus Directcu II PSU - Seasonic -660 Platinum SSD - Samsung 840 Evo 250GB HDD - 3x Seagate Barracuda 3TB RAM - 2x 8GB Corsair Vengeance Optical Drive - LG Blu-ray Reader CPU Heatsink - Corsair H100i Fans - 2x Corsair SP-120, 3x Corsair AF-140 Sound Card - Sound Blaster Z There is a few dramas with this build such and the card I was gonna use was bricked from my last build (GTX Titan) that hurt a bit on the wallet. So Money was pretty tight for this build I was originally going to put in a custom loop but they change quickly. Then I decided to continue on from my previous build of a Decepticon (Red and Black) PC and make an Autobot one (Blue and Black). This involved alot of spray painting and carbon fiber wrapping and custom sleeving from ModDIY. Sorry about the quality of the pictures but my camera is out of battery. By the way the brown on the motherboard isn't that light in real life its just the camera (my poor photo taking skills).
  6. Brands and power boards don't mean much as knight stated just get one from your local electronics store that makes self branded ones which are usually good quality. +1 for surge protection as well and even ones that have names for the sockets I find is really handy.
  7. So the enviable is going to happen... We are all are going to buy 4k televisions whether they are 32 inches or 100+ inches within the near future but what concerns me is when to make that purchase. Just like all technology it becomes obsolete but I can remember the times of when people buying a DVD player was crazy because of the expense of it let alone a new wide screen television whether it was Plasma, LCD or even rear projector. Where nearing that point again just as we did with High Definition TV's where one technology will win just as bluray became the successor over HD-DVD. Its become apparent to me that being impatient and wanting a UHD TV is going to be my downfall but will waiting for HDMI 2.0 be worth it? With everything pretty much having HDMI connecting it I don't think it will be going away for a while so what I have to decide does the refresh rate/frames per second really matter? 30 Vs 60... I know majority of people can tell the difference between this range of FPS but with single core graphic cards being where they are at the moment and the state of thi "new" generation of consoles will technology develop that quickly? After looking at the forecast for the next Maxwell drives it does not seem so. I believe what we have to think about is that a majority of game developers although making there games resolution available in 4k they are not necessary made for it. Putting all this aside for the time being another thing that has been getting on my nerves is the new receivers that have the little 4k pass-through sticker on them. I'm sure it can support a 4k image but at 24Hz and having multiple sources on the one receiver could act as heater (4k content over HDMI 1.4 makes the connectors really hot) especially with the Onkyo I have that sometime will shut off due to overheating.. So if you are buying a receiver for your new UHD TV just wait a little longer until HDMI 2.0 makes it appearance. So the question still remains I have a PC connected to my Panasonic 50 inch 1080p Plasma thats roughly 4 years old I beilve its time for an upgrade after recenlt playing games on my mates new Samsung LED 50 inch. The PC I have has an Intel i5-4670 and a GTX 780 on a mATX board. So SLI is out of the option so even if I was gaming at 4k the average would be 22 frames per second so HDMI 1.4 would not matter but then I could wait and buy the next dual core GPU (other then the Titan-Z of course) that would come out from Nvidia. Then put the GTX 780 in my other PC and SLI that. But then again this all involves money... And if I'm buying a 3 grand TV I won't have any money to put into the PC's that always seem to suck money from my wallet. (I understand I can change the resolution to something smaller such as 2k but what's the fun in that =P) Then comes the question of I already own 2 TV's where would I put the other one? I understand 1080p Plasma's will eventually become just like CRT's and be left on the side of the road for anyone but for now it's still a great TV do I store it? Lend it to family/friends or sell it? With the way I'm with things I would most likey store it til it became worthless then bin it hahaha but what I'm hoping for is that when I buy my own house I can have it connected up to my racing simulator and have it in the corner of a man cave. So finally UHD TV Now, Next Year (HDMI 2.0) or just be grateful for what I have now? But in saying this... ALL THEM PIXELZ!!!! Thanks in advance and if there is any grammatical errors sorry but I'm too tired to bother proof read it at this time.
  8. No sorry mate I tried on here to do the code maybe one of the staff can show you how to do it. I'm not much of a HTML guy. Also I do not play much BF3 and I haven't used that username before.

  10. Pictures Alert! Hahaha great so far might be a good idea to put in a hide/show on the pictures. Look forward what tomorrow brings.
  11. Applied for the beta key for Titanfall but must have choose Xbox rather then PC so here is the code I would wipe my bum with and give to you. FPP72-FJWG7-QJ2PR-XCMHJ-WH32Z
  12. Yes I understand that is way overkill for a cpu heatsink but I'm going for aesthetics more then performance/bang for buck. The same goes for the corsair fans. For the Seasonic power supply I wanted a platinum power efficiency as well as complete modular cable support and Seasonic was the most trusted brand that did so for the price. I understand the 350D is quiet large but I wanted it to match my 900D. If I wasn't going for looks I would have bought a factual mini because of its multi hard drive support, front hinge door and sound damping foam.
