  1. How can I get this to work with AES encryption? To log onto my wifi I have a login username and password. Not just an SSID. Help please
  2. Does it have 16gb ram? DDR4? SSD? I'll look it up right now. Prob returning this shit razer. Edit: I looked up the aero 15, it's pretty sweet! How would that compare to a dell XPS15 or the HP spectre x360?
  3. Would this be a better option: https://www.amazon.com/HP-Spectre-i7-8550U-3840x2160-Convertible/dp/B076QQRWZF/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1533964118&sr=1-2&keywords=hp+spectre+x360
  4. Damn it really!! Fuck. I really thought I lucked out. What's wrong with them? I need an i7, 15 inch, 16gb ram, good battery life, and not super heavy laptop. Those are the only requirements. What would you recommend? I'm on a time crunch
  5. Ok I got a 1060, Intel i7-7700HQ, and 16 gb ram.
  6. Hello! I am looking for a laptop for college and I went to BestBuy to test out and feel the size of the 13 inch vs 15 inch laptops. While there, an employee brought up that they have a floor model Razer Blade last generation and it's heavily discounted. I picked it up for around $700 off and it seems to be fine. No major scratches, no gunk anywhere really, and I literally just brought it home. It seems very new and nice. I'm resetting it right now. I have 14 days to return it, but after those 14 days I'm stuck with it no matter what. I really want to make sure it's in tip top shape before I commit to buying this thing. I don't want it to break on the 15th day then I'm out of luck. I also don't want it to develop battery problems. What should I do? What programs should I run to take diagnostics? I don't want to bring it in anywhere as it still cost me a lot of money. My main concern is something just becoming broken or having it develop a problem overtime since on one of LTT's videos he said 1/3 of the blades they received were not working... I know nothing about laptops. Please help me. Is there anything I should test? Look at? What should I do? Thanks,
  7. GUYS. I went to bestbuy and they had the 2017 Razer Blade 15 inch floor model on sale so I bought it. It is the floor model so it's not brand new. It's a 1060 I think, i7 and 16gb ram. I have 14 days to return it so I want to test it all out and stuff to make sure it works. Can I get some help please? Thanks,
  8. I just want a good laptop. AT LEAST i5, 16gb ram, SSD. What defines good quality? Just 1080p is fine. I would prefer something that isn't bottom line but I don't need the super high budget anti eye strain stuff at 4K
  9. Ok Thanks I will look into it. I'm really not familiar with that chip or M.2 at all. Can this run intense programs?
  10. Hm. What would you recommend for a 4 year laptop then? How long should a good laptop last for?
  11. I need good battery life. They say that there are no outlets in classrooms (little to none). Weight I would prefer a light laptop, because I am walking around. I am in the US, more specifically in Chicago, a big city. Thanks I'll check out some reviews of it. DDR3 or 4? Is the SSD an actual drive or is it M.2?
  12. $800-1000 I also was considering switching to cybersecurity so I will be using programs; it won't all be online. AND I still would like a nice laptop since I won't have my desktop in college. Yeah I def want some power in the laptop. Not looking for a shitty lenovo or chromebook. Looking at i5/16gb ram. Not sure if I need more if doing cybersecurity
  13. I just posted what the college recommends. I think I will go medium to high end. Will an I5 be enough for VM's? Will 16gb be enough for VM's? I have 16 on my desktop and can run 1 VM fine.
