  1. Could someone inform me on the version of the M.2 thats built into the board. I'd like to know. Is it M.2 Gen 3.0 x2, x4 M.2 Gen 2.0 x2 x4? Thank you, Information would be helpful in picking a new ssd for m.2 bootdrive.
  2. wrong lol, Here's a link on LTT for 750D maximum size rad. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/74069-update-corsair-750d-and-60mm-radiators/ I even commented towards AirDeano's post. He said maximum would be most likely 60mm, i'm planning on using a SR1 360mm on top for my 750D and a set of 3 GT-AP45's. 79mm in total and it might make your CPU power cable bent quite harshly though too.
  3. Done that many times, haven't reformatted since because I'm just killing my SSD doing that and wasting a day or 2 reinstalling my games, software and windows updates.
  4. Everything i have is on This is just the common sense kind of stuff i try to avoid. Sorry for being rude but no i do not overclock but its about $20 or $30 more for a Overclockable processor so i went for it. and I've done reinstalled many times with newly reformatted system, one of my friends don't even have this kind of problem but i do. Most likely due to hardware failure. CPU is not running hot. It's at around 50 C when playing battlefield 4. I really don't know why i have to rewrite stuff back out. Some people don't read it because its too long?... This has happened several times from every post i've wrote. I'd really like something done not assumptions. My BIOS is on auto. I set my settings for my RAM on manual though because i saw on one thread i think on overclock.net or tomshardware some people had a some what problem close to this and they fixed it by having their CPU voltage set on manual or a little higher than usual, and RAM on manual as well. Keyboard is a CM storm quickfire TK. Theres nothing wrong with it and my mionix naos 8200 dpi mouse though sometimes my keyboard and mouse rarely stop working due to maybe something wrong with the ports on my motherboard maybe getting loose. But above all that from what you saw, i wished you would of look at what the .dmp wrote and could decipher what it meant as i don't know and been looking up answers for 6-7 months and i'm tired of the same answers which haven't fixed my problems. I'm sorry for being rude, again I'm tired of the same answers and just like something done and a real answer possibly to do with maybe a hardware failure as stated it has something to with hardware and it encountered an uncorrectable hardware error which is probably due to some a defective hardware which i can't tell which it is.
  5. Help i have a bsod "The system encountered an uncorrectable hardware error". This has been happening since i bought my hardware on 6/3/2013. I've been trying to diagnose this problem for 6 months already. it's a pain in the ****, i first thought hmm maybe it's my RAM and so i RMA'd it back to newegg and bought myself a pair of kingston hyperX modules and still no luck but i feel its a bit more stable _ My Computers specs: Intel Core i7 4770k Gigabyte G1 Sniper M5 Socket 1150 z87 motherboard Kingston HyperX 8Gb X 2 1600 Mhz Galaxy Geforce GTX 780 3Gb SeasonicX 850 watt PSU Samsung 840 PRO SSD 120Gb Western Digital Black 1Tb HDD F7 BIOS is still up to date. OS: Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit. I use a Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler and it doesn't go past 50C My graphic card is also not overheating by any chance. It's around sometimes 17C. Yes, 17 C when idling on a cold day and usually on a normal day about 26-30 C Idling. Temps reaches mostly 60 C on my Graphic cards and really never has much problems, not that i can think of. I have been thinking that my Killer Nic E2200 was to blame this whole time so i tried updating drivers for it as i thought it was problem due to that and so i updated my drivers couples time and thought that updating my drivers my PC became less frequent on BSODs which it did but i don't know whether it's a coincidence or not. Just last month it didn't bsod almost 1 full month and then it bsods this sunday twice while i was watching 12 tabs of YouTube and playing battlefield 4. You guys would probably be thinking it's the graphic card but i don't really think so... But can you guys check out what the log says about the bsod? It's been driving me crazy since i bought my parts and I've tried couple things. What I've tried: Updated all my drivers whenever available RMA'd my Memory once before and tested my memory using memtest86 with 1 pass 0 errors though that might not be enough... Doubt it's a heat issue as i have a great cpu cooler (Noctua NH-D14). I'm kind of pointing fingers at either the graphic card, CPU, or mobo probably... Could be hdd or ssd? I don't know, i do not know what symptoms to tell whether its a storage device. Would be very happy to find out whats going on so i can return my hardware to where it came from and get a new hardware please ^^. note, once every while playing games watching youtube or just surfing online my ASUS MX239H monitor black screens for like 2 seconds. Could this indicate my graphic card is defective/Monitor...-.- Feeling like newegg sells defective merchandise but gots to be me to get the defective stuff. PLANNING ON WATERCOOLING VERY SOON, so have to finish getting this problem solved. Yea, watercooling a gaming rig with a mATX board ... Sad gigabyte didn't make a ATX form factor board when they first released the Z87 Socket 1150 boards around middle of May? Feel free to download the .dmp file and have a look for me. I can't for the life of me find out whats going on. I try to be very technical but i guess i'm not that great with computers as i thought. I've tried using bluescreenviewer to see whats up. No clue always says the culprits are hal.dll ntoskrnl.exe and i don't know how to decode... Also reformatted my PC many times already. My OS is not the problem. Link to BSOD Dump file. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/84870324/011414-13868-01.zip Also i posted this topic on microsoft too to get an answer so i can compare answers and hopefully come to a conclusion. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-performance/help-i-have-a-bsod-the-system-encountered-an/c9fa9e49-8b26-45a9-bd0e-240e1a227325
  6. I purchased bitspower fittings, blackice sr1 360 and a sr1 120 and the 120 had both sets of screws, 1 set of 4 to screw a fan and a set of 4 to mount to case. The 360 did not have this. I was thinking about these and contacted performance-pcs from where i bought it. Anyone has a clue why i didn't get the short m4 screws for mounting? http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=60_236&products_id=32217
  7. Alright thanks and i couldn't care less about not being able to remove it. I actually need it
  8. Oh okay, you know this by some chance because you're a watercooling enthusiast? o_0? Didn't know there was a non-rotary one. Mhm okay I'll take your advice KylSp. Thank you ^^ Good i have that fitting + housing, don't gotta end up buying one
  9. Does this fitting include the female to female that i see in this picture? http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_346_393_619&products_id=24141&zenid=069bedfdfe44c13d07e618329cad443c I send my message to PerformancePCs with this. Are these fittings included too with the L housing? It says its not? To make the question not vague, what i'm talking about is the picture that has the housing and a g1/4 fitting on it too. Is that included from what's (displayed in the picture = threaded housing and a fitting as well) or just the (housing with 2 g1/4 threads) I'd like to purchase this if its how it looks because it has a g1/4 thread to g1/4 thread and i need that to make my drainage port but problem is i could of bought monsoon fittings as they are cheaper but only that i hear bad reviews that they leak or they have bad paint chipping and so on. Also heard that they are hard to put on or they just don't fit and so on. Rep replies: Hello Yes it is exactly like the picture with housing and 2 x G 1/4 threads. Thanks Afterwards i reply back because That didn't make a bit of sense. As you can see i sent them a message clearly about what i wanted to know and this person comes back with "Yes it is exactly like pic" oh okay then it comes back with "housing and 2 x G 1/4 threads". WTH. So it comes exactly like picture so i should get housing plus female thread too then in the same sentence it says with housing and 2 x G 1/4 threads.... I reply back to see if he can dumb it down for me because NO I'm not stupid but sometimes i always speak to reps like these from EKWB and so on and they come with YEA sure then another reply in the same sentence saying no. Sometimes i wonder if they really care about their customers. Reply. That was kind of vague in the sense that well... uhm... You said yes its like the picture with housing then theres 2 g1/4 threads.... UHHH. Could you please just say whether this product includes the fitting thats on the housing or no Reply from PerformancePCs once again. There is nothing vague about the reply and sorry we dont understand your confusion. You get what is in the pic. If you want fitting for the female threaded port then that is extra. Now I'm clueless as they said the same thing again. I just want to know if i get the fitting thats included in the pic and he says yea you do whatevers in the pic. Now "it" says if you want fitting for the female threaded port then that is extra and i did read the includes portion on their site and it says only housing and fittings is optional. Usually they clearify saying FITTING IS NOT INCLUDED kind of thing. Can anyone clearify on this. Yea I'm quite clueless and been sick for 5 days but still no option to do but ask right? But i guess mixed replies imo... Someone who has bought this, can you tell me whether the female thread is included also with housing? Please and Thank you. All i ask for.
  10. Talked to gigabyte and asked them that too and they were like "Well, we could try to check it for you" but i wouldn't know where to start by checking the board
  11. Hi, i've been having problems with my computer since i've built it. Sorry but its too late to return any of them Wished i had because its been persistent. Sometimes my bsod happens every once per day and sometimes it's happened twice per a month. Weird and i thought it was because the drivers nvidia was releasing sucked but obviously that's not the case as this has been happening for awhile and this .DMP file will tell you i keep getting Hal.dll+12a3b with ntoskrnl.exe+18c463 code error BSOD. Could anyone help decipher these somehow. I went to other forums looking for these problems some forums told others that had a sandy bridge processor that it is because their BIOS voltage for CPU is set to auto and must be set to manual with 1.2v to the cpu. I tried changing wording around with haswell cpu to google.com and has not come up with anything. i'm really just ticked off as I've built so far 2 other systems for friends and yet to find a bsod for them. I've tried many troubleshooting methods. 1. I used to think it was my G SKILL SNIPER RAM but it wasn't and when i thought it was i returned it back to newegg and got refund and bought new RAM from kingston hyperX instead and though it's happened less. I know 100% it's not the RAM. I used memtestx86 before on both different sets of sticks of RAM and yet to detect a single error. 2. I thought it was something to do with Nvidia's crap drivers but thats not the problem neither. I've heard so many times that people gets this nvidia driver crashed and trying to recover but my pc just shuts off sometimes randomly... I have no single clue whats up. 3. I doubt it's my graphic card and i don't think processors are usually defective so i really don't want to come to the conclusion my processor could be the problem... NO! The temps are not even high. IDLING with a Noctua NH-D14 i get around 27-35 C. My graphic card is a GTX 780 and it is at 25-32 C IDLING, max it ever gets is around 65 C. 4. I recently purchased BF4 and thought, HMM why the hell is my pc bsoding now when it hasn't been bsoding for like 2 weeks and i thought nvidia's drivers fixed my crap up finally. Guess that wasn't the case because this whole week since I've played BF4, i've bsod'd twice. Twice after the game ended. What could be the damn problem. It's been irritating me for a while now. Yes, i hear Dice/EA needs to fix their game up but that's really not the problem since its not like game's crashing, its more that i get bsod's and this has been happening before bf4 came out. If anyone can help me decipher why i keep getting bsods, I've already written 1tb of data to my samsung 840 pro almost because I've countlessly tried to reformat my ssd to see if i can tinker with it to fix the reason my operating system BSODs. Have yet to figure it out. FILE is down below. My Computer parts are the following: Gigabyte G1 Sniper M5 socket 1150 Z87 mATX motherboard Intel core i7 4770k Galaxy GTX 780 3gb reference Kingston HyperX Memory 8Gbx2 Seasonic X 850 watt gold PSU WD 1TB Black Samsung 840 PRO 120Gb SSD All my drivers are 100% up to date. I've checked on my drivers constantly to see if anything out there to improve my stability. There has been no other updates since. I keep my PC windows updated, BIOS, and driver updated. I AM NOT OVERCLOCKING.
  12. Thank F***ing god I might go with alphacool NexXxos UT60 then >_< eh. lol Gonna ramp those GT-AP 45's to the max cuz im insane and love seeing my components stay cool ^^ Components staying cool>Noise Hope to find out what kind of fittings you going to use for the radiator to get it through that little hole o_0. I've been contemplating on how to get that through but anyways funny thing AIRDEANO, I have tried been trying to measure out how much radiator space and fan together i can get out of the 750D and finally come with the conclusion 63mm for radiator from you. What a beast. Alittle more than I'll ever need but I'm extremely happy to find out everything works out fine.
  13. Crap, so you're saying that 60mm is the max I can put with a radiator + fan? I was hoping to slap a BlackIce GTX 360mm GEN II 54mm radiator + GT-AP 45's on there.
  14. Okay KylSP, very helpful But yes I'm still very worried whether they still have crappy plating so hopefully when i get my build start/completed I'll upload some pictures to the the build logs section and HOPING never to see a problem with my watercooling build. And no i don't have any aluminum in my build. My build consist of the following waterblocks and radiators. BlackIce GTS 120mm radiator 29.5mm, BlackIce GTX 360mm Gen II radiator 54mm, Koolance CPU 380I, and EK Geforce GTX Titan SE (Acetal + Nickel plated copper).
