  1. Thank you, I was thinking of going either the popular choices on PC part picker of either the Gigabyte or MSI B650 but this one was the same price with PCIe gen 5.0. only cheaper option I found were micro atx motherboards. Do you think I should go with the normal b650 or for the price do get the asrock? Thank you again for your advice
  2. Hello, Currently updating my system, and going with the new 7800X3D. There are just so many options in terms of motherboards, so I am a bit lost. My current choice was the: ASRock X670E PG Lightning ATX AM5 Motherboard the reason I'm choosing this over the others is it has PCIe x16 Gen 5.0 slot and I do not see the point in going for the ones as there does not seem to be any major benefits that I remember (this is why I'm asking, cant tell if I am being dumb). So please let me know if this fine or if I am being stupid Thank you for your time and advice
  3. Hello, I am going to update my current setup besides GPU and power supply, currently running i7-4790k. So was going to update to AM5, but cant decide between the 7800X3D or the 7900X as both are within budget, but only want to spend the difference between the two if there is a performance gap. I can get the 7900x in bundle deal at ME (7900x and MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk WIfi Motherboard for $789.99 CAD), which seems like a wicked deal (could be really wrong though). This is deal is the one of the main reasons I am indecisive, as pc part picker seems to suggest that this bundle is actually a deal. It is going to be primarily be used for gaming. I have not kept up with the tech in a while, just a quick skim here and there, so apologies if the answer is obvious. Thank you
  4. How do I check if my motherboard supports NVMe? is it somewhere in windows? This my current motherboard: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/rgDwrH/gigabyte-motherboard-gaz97xud3hbk
  5. Hi guys, Sorry if I am posting in the wrong section, but just needed the forums advice on this. I am currently on 2 Tb HDD but am thinking of buying the 860 QVO, but dont know much about SSD so was wondering if it was a good deal or if the QVO are not good. Here the exact link if you need to look: https://www.amazon.ca/Samsung-Electronics-Internal-MZ-76Q1T0B-AM/dp/B07L31K2MK/ref=sr_1_13?keywords=ssd&qid=1563318467&s=gateway&sr=8-13&th=1 Thanks
